IBT/UAL contract rejection, what does it mean to us at AA?

That's true. So why didn't any of President Clinton's Secretaries of Transportation reverse that regulatory change? Between them, Federico Peña, Rodney Slater and Norm Mineta had eight years when they could have changed the FARs to prohibit foreign outsourcing. So why didn't they?

Because Clinton got bought out as well, Thats why I'm supporting Bernie!
Why stop with Clinton?
Why didn't Obama reverse that decision on DAY 1?
The union's all supported Obama, what did they get for that support?

I've seen this question asked before but never answered.
Bob, 700, what exactly was the get for unions for the support of Obama?

Its simply amazing how people dont realize Congress really controls the country.

The House approved all spending, and the House and Senate must ratify all laws.

Does this make sense?

And it's simply amazing that you seem to ignore that Obama and the far left , supported by our unions, controlled EVERYTHING in Obamas first 2 years.

What was the great things they did for labor again, please remind me?

They were dealing with the recession and the war in Iraq.

Why dont YOU tell us what they did?

Look, I only brought it up because it was pointed out that Elizibeth Dole, in the Reagan Administration started the outsourcing to MRO's , even though , according to 700, it's Congress that controls everything, ( the House was controlled by Democrats during all 8 years of Reagan btw).

And then Bob correctly pointed out that Clinton did nothing to reverse it.

I'm only asking the logical question,
Why do we support anyone that doesn't vow to reverse it?

Bob says he feels the Bern.
Great, Bob, please post the link to the speech Bernie made saying he was going to reverse the outsourcing to MRO's on Day 1, I'm having a very difficult time finding it.

Right off the top of my head, the change in the voting process for the RLA, instead of votes not being cast, counted as a no, they are not counted at all.

So 7+ years of Obama's Marxism got us voting process.
Fantastic.

Except, we never got to vote because the NMB is stacked with crooks.
That might be what the unions got, favorable decisions from the NMB.
Great
And we continue to work under BK contracts.

Both sides are screwing over the people that actually work for a living.

Both sides are getting paid off to pass the bills that allow the corporations to screw everybody else over.

Who ratified the CBA?
Not the IAM Leaders, the members did, now didnt they?

Trump is fighting his workers who unionized in Vegas and he supports Right to Work (for less) 100%

NAFTA was signed by Clinton, negotiated and pushed by Bush.

wow!  you blame the membership for VOTING  on a bad contract negotiated and pushed by the IAM,
then you give Slick Wily a pass for SIGNING a bad law because it was negotiated and pushed by Bush!
You are a meathead deluxe

Why do the unions require a Closed Shop in the first place?

If the unions are performing adequately, then why would they be
afraid of losing their funding. The membership is paying for a service and
as long as their agent is performing why not pay for that service?

In an open shop unions are required to represent non-members free of charge,is that right?
