Democrats finalized NAFTA. Created under Papa Bush and finalized under Slick Willie. Republicans, Democrats all the same. Both parties allow companies to ship work overseas and allow tech companies to get work visas for foreigners to do american jobs. Now what was it you said about voting myself out of a job?

Trump is fighting his workers who unionized in Vegas and he supports Right to Work (for less) 100%

NAFTA was signed by Clinton, negotiated and pushed by Bush.

Bush (41) negotiated NAFTA and Clinton helped convince 27 Democrats in the Senate to vote in favor of ratification:

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Saturday approved the North American Free Trade Agreement, ending with little flourish a national debate that a week ago had threatened to throw out the pact entirely and complicate Clinton Administration plans for expanded trade agreements with other parts of the world.

The vote was 61 to 38. As was the case earlier in the House, Republicans supplied the most support, accounting for 34 of the favorable votes to 27 from the Democrats.

Free trade isn't solely a Republican thing - Pres Obama has negotiated several Free Trade agreements.

NAFTA had nothing to do with outsourcing to foreign MROs.

That was done by Elizabeth Dole, who was Reagan's Secretary of Transportation, who changed the FARs, to permit foreign MROs to perform schedule maintenance on Airplanes base in the US and owned/leased by US carriers.

What does Right to Work have to do with with the airline industry at American or United?

You are stupid, don't you ever read?

Keep up the personal attacks.

Do you read?

They want to pass a Federal Right to Work (for less), which would also amend the RLA to outlaw closed shops.

That's true. So why didn't any of President Clinton's Secretaries of Transportation reverse that regulatory change? Between them, Federico Peña, Rodney Slater and Norm Mineta had eight years when they could have changed the FARs to prohibit foreign outsourcing. So why didn't they?

I learned the personal attack strategy from you.

and what, the Industrial Unions are going to stop them how?

By misappropriating the membership's money

Industrial Unions had better work on getting their membership numbers up.

What is it about 13% unionized across the country?

Do that then you can stop your fictitious Federal Right to Work

Why are those watching over the IAMPF called Trustee's

MRO lobbying group lobbies hard against any regulation for repair stations foreign and domestic. They argue for de-skilling of the trade and undermine any efforts to increase licensing or inspection requirements for MROs. During efforts in the 90s they fought hard against making the A&P license more like EASA which would have required general, commercial, and overhaul categories as well as recurrent training requirements for A&Ps and who airlines could hire to do the work. ARSA (lobbying group) was against this and fought that the current system works and less regulation and letting foreign repair stations be inspected by their own countries regualtory agencies. Right to work aside, if the licensing requirements were raised industry wide we would be in a true professional category with better standards for MROs and mechanics.
