IBT No Show Forum

Great, then show up in Dallas Feb 23 ready to talk.
And if the reamsters tell you they know what is best for you then you tell them to shove it.
Just like we did.
Then we will know you will be great amfa brothers.

Yes you are correct WNMECH. It was put out to a vote because the company asked us too. And only 2 of the Comte members and Jack Coonrod that were in favor of it. Period!!! And btw Mr CoonRod is in favor of anything the company wants!!

Ain't that the truth.

I dont wanna be 2 different work groups, I don't wanna screw anyone over, I don't wanna lose seniority, I don't wanna look at my union brothers and feel any negativity towards them, and I don't want this thing to drag on.
Then you gotta give something up .... and all you got to give is seniority! So give it up and lets move on. Are you ready???

I have to agree with Squidly. We all want it to be over and done with, we all want to start moving forward. Easiest way and most agreed upon by majority is 35% cut in AT seniority. Seems a fair trade considering NOBODY will be moved or displaced, AT mechs get job security, better benefits at a lower cost, substantial increase in pay, the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to retirement. Wouldn't you AT mechs like to agree to this and in a few months realize when you come home for supper that you have more money with which to do more things with your family? WOW, that's not such a bad deal after all and nothing has changed except your uniform!

Just a thought for all.

Oh and a little food for thought for you AT guys, I know of only 1 person interested in moving to ATL and he isn't anytime soon and when I say soon, not in the next 15 years! I think you guys are worried for nothing, I think there will be no to little movement.

If you can vote no just because the company was pushing hard for a yes. A NO to 35% can be just as emphatic because it is wanted just as bad. And it is just as outrageous as offering 20%. So we have to meet in the "MIDDLE"

Well lets just wait for the vote then.
I bet your guys voted to give us a 70% boost.
But you suggest the same guys would not except a straght one time hit of 35%.
I think level heads would see it is in fact fair.

And I bet OUR guys (SWA) vote NO to boost! I did! It is IBT smoke and mirrors and nothing more.

A 70% boost with DOH And those same guys would accept a 20% one time hit

Here's a suggestion ... we'll take the 20% if you AT clowns take a 20% drop in pay and bennefits. Is that an acceptable middle to meet at? I probebly know the anwser. Quit asking for the cake, ice cream and a cherry, and be real. I'm sure sokol promissed you everything all in due time, but lets face it you AT clowns either are greedy or just got greedy.

Explain to me what you classify as an AT clown. You might wanna give up being an aircraft mechanic if you can't correctly spell simple words. But I might be wrong you "probably" pronounce it like you write it. And I was "promised" everything. Not!!!!! But what is meant for me will be mine and that is a fact

Most of us are not interested in a seniority boost. I think that is clear. A 30 to 35% seniority reduction by you guys will more than likely get it done.

I too will stick to my original post many, many moons ago 25-35% reduction. The happy medien seems to be right at the 30%. No fences. Remove our March 29 LOA, as well as AT's LOA. K.I.S.S. One senority list for all. I know I'm probably chiming in a little late.
Hey AT2001; It's not just a small group on here. We are in fact members from each station telling other stations how the majority at each station might be voting. Nobody is pushing anyones vote just telling how the majority is voting and why. The rest of the members can make up their own mind. My original post started the talks of a 25-35% senority reduction for AT. Why these numbers? Because AT did in fact bring 25% reduction to the table (this is where they started) so to be fair I said AMFA should throw 35% back to AT and I'm sure we would all meet in the middle somewhere like 30% as an average. This 30% number has been expressed as a number that will get it to pass with out the fences and restrictions. Also we are hearing the 3 for 1 numbers. Sorry for the late post...
