IBT No Show Forum

You say 30-35 is a maybe. I say 20
-25 is also. So maybe we meet in the middle of the 2. That's how you negotiate right? We both start on a end and give til we are in the middle
The company offer now is doh for you and plus 70% for us. I think the middle is you lose 35% everywhere and no fences.

Well, I'd be a NO vote again and recommend a NO vote all around if it's anything above 30% loss on our side or if it goes to years loss. 30% IS the max fairest. That's a lot all things considered...

Everyone keeps saying company offer. A company offer was given to the pilots. This was not that, it is from what I understand was an offer that all involved there thought would pass

No. It is company offer they thought would pass and we agreed to let it out to be voted on.

No all parties involved thought so and agreed. Rationale being a deal made amongst affected groups would be a better deal than 1 an arbitrator possibly could hand down

No. Not all parties agreed on this offer.
I will let others who were in the room answer to that but it was very clear from our roadshow meeting.

So are you saying amfa didn't agree to this? It must have been a hard pill to swallow because they sure didn't say "hey this is a crock of nothing and you will be hearing from our lawyers" oh wait did they have their lawyers present

It was made clear at our roadshow meeting that our committee was not in full agreement on this proposal. Although they had agreed to let the members have a vote on it.
Madman could explain better about the split on in the group if he wants to, but that is water under the bridge.
I believe the membership will vote it down.
That is the bottom line.
While a couple recommended a yes vote, most did not.
Should have our committee told the company that they were not going to allow us to vote on there plan?
I guess you didn't see how that worked out for your pilots.

If you want to be two different work groups, separated and played against each other the rest of your career then you vote for it.
I will not.
One group, one list, one luv.

I dont wanna be 2 different work groups, I don't wanna screw anyone over, I don't wanna lose seniority, I don't wanna look at my union brothers and feel any negativity towards them, and I don't want this thing to drag on.

Yes you are correct WNMECH. It was put out to a vote because the company asked us too. And only 2 of the Comte members and Jack Coonrod that were in favor of it. Period!!! And btw Mr CoonRod is in favor of anything the company wants!!
