There"s really no need to SLANDER anyone, who is willing to run for a position, in the upcoming Election at our Local Lodge 1976.
These are tough times that lay ahead for all of us.
The question is," Who would you want Representing You"
The answer is simple ,without your VOTE, you have no choice.
Exercise your right, as a Union Member, and " Cast -Your- Vote "

For whatever it is worth, and whatever may be left of this slowly burning fire, we need to stick with the leaders(????????) we have at the momemt. This is NOT a time for a change in leadership!! If all works out in our favor(doubtful), then we can think of changes. until then, I have to stay with Frank Shifano. GOOD DAY.....MORE LATER

While nature of the beast is to resist change it is not always the best thing to do.

Let's remember Frank is supposed to be the local lodge president (local being the key word) He spends more time away than at his local representing people from the local. hope I didn't kill that word.

Frank is also a DL 141M VP, and Bill Wise President of 1725, also gets called away to important union business as Robert Roach makes sure the Presidents of the two largest Mechanic and Related locals are involved in all important matters pertaining to US Airways now.

I realize that but first and foremost he is local lodge 1976 president.
I realize we have F.S. loyalists on here. Fact is Frank was in office when the worst ever occurred and he was not attentive to his troops with answers or helpful with problems, which are many! He is a desperate man right now because someone with real balls is running against him, someone who doesn’t smile at you and do nothing like Frank is famous for. It’s time to let Bill Hays take a crack at it and kick Frank out, he should retire and do everyone a big favor!

funny, i seem to remember the wholesale elimination of most positions in jet shop second shift..and frank got those people back to work.they may not have been where they wanted to be or had the days off they wanted but nonetheless they were getting their paycheck.guess you don't sweat the details,eh...dude? ;)

I am no fan but I believe Frank is the best man for the job.

700…you’re a yes man for dude boi, and don’t even work in Pit, stick to CLT and spew you wisdom around down there.

Dude, I also seem to remember there were a TON of grievances against the jet shop fiasco which I was part. You failed to mention Frank also told us to please let the grievances drop and take concessions, which is the kind of man Frank is. Tell us to eat the company’s crap and then take concessions and yet you are on here defending him! Oh yea of little balls, or no balls letting this kind of leadership prevail in these times. What’s funny is I am older than you, yet willing to let a new ways in knowing the old ways failed. Stick to the proven failed ways and let them beat you to death if you want, I will take a different path. Ever hear of the old Dog, dude...

don't bet your bottom dollar there sonnyboy.....
company demanded all those grievances be dropped...and yes the majority voted,twice...after the ones who voted no messed themselves with the results and cried to dave .
i have no problem with hayes...i think hes better cut for grievance committee...and like in boxing, never lead with your head

Bill Hays is more like the AFA president in Pit and what’s needed to deal with this management team. Frank is passive and this management teams eats them for lunch. This is why Bill has my vote.
