Do you have your months wrong? Don't you mean Mar 31, and Apr 1st...2nd...3rd...and 4th?

PJ,

Today and Friday are travel days. Negotiations start April Fools Day and
continue through Thursday unless talks go in to overtime. It is not clear who
requested whom to come to the table. If RC requested talks, it could be seen
by some members to be bad judgment. JR and PF are both scheduled for
arbitration cases which are scheduled way in advance. Thursday is the day
that the Mechanics vote. Stalling negotiations one week would possibly have
been more prudent. As far apart the company and the union have been
since last year, one would think that nothing could realistically be settled in
three days time. The only reason the M&R could come to an agreement is
because they were close last year and could iron out the finalities in a short time.
We shall see.

Take that O-man :bleh:

Joe, they are drinkin' a little hair of the dawg!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH gotcha pj

hey joe . don't get personal there. unless you want to feel a corncob ..somewhere

I don't have my expectations set too high. If they can hammer anything out I will be very suprised.

BTW O-man no one ever walks away from the shine. Crawl away maybe but never walks away.

Ummm.... From the IAM website:

Your District 141 - US Airways Negotiating Committee will return to the bargaining table on March 31st, April 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ.

Kinda hard to travel at the table.

Why! do you all waste your time here on this thread! Go back to the results of our political polls!

Unions! Are be screwed! Get this across to our representatives. STOP JOKEING!

Retraction and apology,

PF is NOT at an arbitration hearing and WILL BE at T/A
negotiations.
Talks do start TODAY. As previously stated, yesterday
was a travel day and no talks were scheduled yesterday!

Thanks,

Would it be possible to have some sort of update indicator at the topic header?
