A friend of mine sent me a copy of the F/A seniority list and I guess it's not that bad. There's going to be approximately 5,000 below me (including us west f/as), so I guess it's not too bad. So I'm halfway in seniority which is what I currently hold in phoenix. :)

I just hope we can keep the DPU and trade system. I'm happy.

Darling,

First order of business, is the reserve issue. Next, let's hammer out my pension, OK? I love my job and do it well, but let me go, OK? $6,000 isn't enough.

Love,

Dea

You can GO, whenever you want to GO, no one is holding you here against your will, are they? If you are being held against your will, that is called kidnapping and should be reported to the authorities ASAP...

Honey,

If they offer $6,000 to US West F/As with benefits, the seniors would take it. I'm suprised they haven't offered it!

Thanks...do you think it will be posted? It is the east and west entire seniority list with the furloughees on it too, Right?

After AFA gives the list to the company, the company should post it.

There is significant bargaining power in NOT giving the combined seniority list to the company until later as the company needs it before it can implement particular parts of integration.

On Nov. 11th the PHX LEC instructed the west seniority representatives to halt work on integrating the seniority list.

While I can not speak for east, you should be able to view the list's (or list) at your union office.
West FAs in good standing can drop in any time and have a look during normal hours.

Hey, you wanna know what? My sweet smiling face, no matter how aged it my be, keeps the customers coming back. I greet them all, I serve predeparture drinks on all flights.

No one reads Cosmos on my flights. We take care of my customers. None of my crew members objects. I am very proud of my coworkers.

We care.

So if you don't, pleaae quit. My crew and I care. Our customers are the only the best, we show up.

Ps AOL stinks

Dea,

Your seniority has earned the right to stay as long as you want.

In my opine, it is very reasonable to expect a decent retirement.

And... the priority's she outlined are someting both west & east should be united over. We should all be for fixing the reserve problems of both sides and restoring the pension in the combined contract.

The combined contract should NOT be concessionary in nature...

CO has a tentative agreement that offers FAs several improvements, including a base guarantee of 83 hrs!!!

Our next contract is to be an improvement... if we all stand together.

Also not an AOL fan

Since the USAirways F/A senority list is not complete....I caution people that this "list" may not be accurate. AFA has not even finished the combined list.

$6,000 was the one time pay off. I believe that was after taxes. I love my job, I do it with much pride. Most of my coworkers share that same pride. If I was forced to work with a bunch of slackers, I would have quit long ago. I am mighty proud of our workforce. God knows, we are the ones who keep the customers coming back!

OK, here's my wish list: Bring back our RES. They are the best! Revise the reserve system. It stinks.

And for Heavens sake, give our retirees a pension.

Dea

And don't tell me to quit. I am asset to this company. My skills and my love of this job shows. As do most of my coworkers.
