Just one more point...ALPA's advisors told the MEC (predicted) there could be "out of seniority" furloughs as part of the S.1113 bankruptcy process, which I understand begins next week unless there are consensual deals.

It's a way to lower unit costs and purge the company of poor performing employees.

It should be interesting when the Senators call each of the RC4. I can here it now from statements made by the RC4. In fact, I'm sure Senator Specter is going to be impressed when he talks to these guys. [And the rest]

Glad to see you read (and appropriated parts of) Harry's post from the ALPA board.

ah, do you think you could say that just one more time????

USA320Pilot comments: I doubt it, they will just terminate the trouble makers and keep in their employ those who want to re-build the company. It's called "purging", which many company's do to employees who do not perform.

BoeingBoy:

I thought the comments were accurate, but I did not obtain them from the ALPA message board. By the way, I also saw the humorous comments written about a transcript of the calls. Would you post that here too?

You mentioned that, quite a few times actually. Do you have a link, or "Complete Story" to back that up?

If it was possible, I wonder who they would consider "poor performing employees"? There are not many flat-out bad employees, and they can't find out who voted against concessions. I'd imagine the most senior, or highest paid would be who they'd be interested in.

So wouldnt that mean you would be on the street and all of MidAtlantic or PSA would move back up onto the Airbuses? Are you willing to do that so the company
can survive in the new reality?

It appears the truth hurts...too bad those who do not want to build the company can get the ax, according to the advisors.

Each union had the choice on whether or not they wanted to participate in the new business plan and market pay and benefits. Now "imposition" and more "painful" actions are about to appear before us.

So Harry has been busy posting his "tongue in cheek" document in other places? As for the "transcript of the calls", I'm not sure what you're talking about since I only saw Harry's post. Maybe I missed something on the ALPA site - I'm sure it happens.

Do not "shoot the messenger", ALPA's advisors have said there could be out of seniority furloughs. I'm just repeating their comments.

If and I mean IF this has remotely any truth...I PROMISE A MAJOR CLASS ACTION AGE AND ADA DISCRIMINATORY LAW SUIT AGAINST THIS COMAPNY.

Along with a ttempting to break seniority whereby blantantly busitng the unions.

However, OUR AFA ANALYST HAVE MENTIONED NO SUCH THING...SO I WOULD VENTURE TO SAY THE POSSIBILITY ARISES THAT YOUR ADVISORS ARE ON USAIRWAYS PAYROLE TO INSTILL FEAR AMONG THE RANKS.

Someone needs to do some investigating reporting on ALPA advisors for legitimacy.

I think its a huge IF, PITbull... a very unlikely one. A certain someone is doing the fear-mogering trick to go along with the finger pointing and pouting.

...that's what I want..the least experienced pilot in command, the f/a's who don't have a clue in case of an emergency...and all those new ticket agents fumbling around with Sabre...

It's encouraging to know what great management (bosses..not leaders) USAir...ways has.....It's doomed............

It's incredible that US Airways' employees are more concerned with fighting their own management than they are with competing with the real enemy - other airlines.

Man y'all are strange.
