Egypt Looking for Change?

Maybe to some extent in Iran............that won't really matter. Muslim Brotherhood is going to run herd and all will follow. Much like Taliban rule.
The fire is lit and watch it spread around the world.
This is a historic moment for the religion of peace and will be will be Obama's worst moments as a lame duck President.
First, Egypt is nothing like Afghanistan. There will be nothing "like Taliban rule".

Your predictions are not based on fact.

Not sure how you are drawing that conclusion. Egypt is secular as far as the ME is concerned. There are no mullahs in power in Egypt. There is very little religion involved in their political system. While the Brotherhood will attempt to gain power, there is no guarantee that they will. The youth have been exposed to technology, and western ideas. There is no indication that they want to go backwards toward a religious theocracy. That's not to say it will not happen, but I do not believe it will be the youth who will be encouraging that turn of events.

And you are still ignorant and wrong as ever.

84% of Egyptians support death penalty for people who leave the Muslim religion.

This is an excellent global opportunity for the clerics to motivate the illiterate masses. That's who the doer's are in the movement.

A prediction or forecast is a statement about the way things will happen in the future, often but not always based on experience or knowledge.

Fair enough.

The Muslim Brotherhood has been long overrated.

Muslim brotherhood already exists globally including here. The next question is what are they doing right now to instigate their cause?
Greece, Spain and France should be concerned. The outcome of this will be very anti western.
Next few weeks should be interesting globally.....
Notice how all those cute little documents from Assange pop up at just the right moments?
Like someone is 'helping'.......

Go figure...

Muslim Brotherhood Wants War With Israel

Mohamed Ghanem, one of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, calls Egypt to stop pumping gas to Israel and prepare the Egyptian army for a war with it’s eastern neighbor. Speaking with Iranian television station Al-Alam, Mohamed Ghanem blamed Israel for supporting Hosni Mubarak’s regime. Ghanem also said that the Egyptian police and army won’t be able to stop the Muslim Brotherhood movement. There are doubts about the loyalty of the Egyptian army to president Mubarak. If the brotherhood takes control over Egypt, it will be very messy from the whole region.

This could change the global economic situation in a matter of hours......

Muhammad Ghannem reportedly told Al- Alam that the Suez Canal should be closed immediately, and that the flow of gas from Egypt to Israel should cease “in order to bring about the downfall of the Mubarak regime.” He added that “the people should be prepared for war against Israel,” saying the world should understand that “the Egyptian people are prepared for anything to get rid of this regime.”

This may get interesting

You would think the Arab nations would have learned from the last 6/7 a$$ whippings that Israel gave them. Keep in mind, the US is not the only country addicted to oil. I suspect that everyone will make sure that oil keeps flowing. Granted it will be at a higher price (no reason not to get rich off of a good crisis) but it will keep flowing.

They can try and shut the Suez down but I do not give it much more success than the strike over at NW.
