Kev I watched the video of Kip speaking and was incredibly impressed by it. He's an inspiration for wanting to continue to shine a light on what too many airlines do in taking advantage of people over obscene profits. In that regard they're ALL guilty. 

I won't respond to WT anymore out of respect for you and a GREAT Union brother. You both prove very clearly that being Union doesn't mean just signing a Union card and paying dues. It's far more than that.

and you can ask all you want, Kevin, but until you ask the same thing of other people, you can absolutely guarantee that I won't accept your request, no matter how nicely you phrase it.

I want to show respect for Kip and leave all of the other discussions to other threads including trying to argue for the labor movement and trying to frame him as a martyr.

If you want to respect him, then make it clear to everyone that the way to respect Kip is to leave words like martyr, advocacy for the labor movement, and discussion of what AA and the TWU have done far out of this discussion.

Kev don't let it sweat you. You're asking for something from someone who is either unable or unwilling to offer what you very politely asked for. You don't know this person in real life and his words and opinions aren't going to equal even one grain of salt when it comes to the topic of your friend and coworker.

sure I want to walk down that road and it absolutely matters whether weAAsles wants to show us or not.

 

No one even said a word about 7.5. That is another s**t show for another day, But if your going to call out AA/TWU for what it has done for the ramp you need to also do the same for Delta. AFAIK AA (stand alone) would still have more stations than stand alone Delta did. Your deal is you want to compare Delta to American now and in this case it isn't apples to apples because the majority of the ramp is at Delta because of the IAM at Northwest. IMHO Delta would have cut it a while ago but they know that nothing is going to get union cards sending in faster than announcing they cutting of 20-25 station on the ramp when they are making over 4B. (and a big reason why is Delta promising not the lay people off "ever" again.......more on that when i get a chance to post some more info from the investor day. Rumors are Anderson made some interesting (and IMO a little......odd....) comments.)
 
So if you are going to have him/her post a list or post the scope then you also need to man up and compare apples to apples and tell us about the blue tail scope and ramp stations pre-merger.
