Of course, depending upon how many FAs are at DL, it could very well force a representation election, in which case you all might be non-union before too long.

Ergo, I don't predict a staple job would happen.

I can see why the opinion for DOH is dominant among the East membership. I am not for a staple job, by any means.

In this scenario, I think adopting the integration policy that Delta applied to those from Pan Am during that buyout would be fair. It was not a staple job, but not DOH either.

I bet if the tables were turned and Delta was calling the shots, I can bet the farm that DOH would not be an option. It wasn't with Pan Am or Western...although Western fared a little better in that merger.

If I were PHL, LGA, BOS, DCA or CLT based, I would be reluctant calling DOH a fair process as those cities will probably be downsized ala Pittsburgh to appease the Federal Regulators. See where DOH allows you to stand in CVG or ATL.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If this takeover happens, give Delta employees a slotted integration into our seniority ranks as they have done to other carriers in their long and proud history. If it was good for them, I'm sure they wouldn't mind and many of us will benefit in the long run.

How did the UEast f/a's screw the west? Obviously you do not talk to those who were once employeed by PSA/Piedmont, there are NO hard feelings there. If there is to be a Delta/USAirways connection, you can bet the farm that the intergration will be DOH if those on the West can't deal with that then they need to grow up. Their work force out there is so jr because their turn over is so high. Anyone wonder why that is?

History lesson...When PI merged with US, I was based in BWI. After merger, over 300 f/a's flushed into the base. What did I do? I graciously transferred to DCA. Seniors came in. That's life.
When ILM closed, most went to CLT. Seniors came in. That's life.

When ORF closed, most went to CLT. Seniors came in. That's life.

When ATL closed, most went to CLT. Seniors came in. That's life.

When ROA closed, most went to CLT or BWI. Seniors came in. That's life.

When GSO closed, most went to CLT. Seniors came in. That's life.

When DCA closed, most went to BWI. Seniors came in. That's life.

When Miami closed, most went to CLT. Seniors came in. That's life.

SYR closed. They went to other bases. That's life.

You couldnt be more wrong. USAirways has always honored seniority. PSA/Piedmont came in at DOH, the Empire f/a's that Piedmont stapled to the bottom got their original DOH. The Trump Shuttle f/a's got their original Eastern Airlines seniority. NO one at USAirways has ever cried over where someone else has fallen into their seniority list. We are too professional to do that. We also respect someones time served.
U also used to honor time served if you were a retiree also. That changed when the West came into power.
