Company just picked a side and it wasn't USAPA's

For those pilots that are realists the Kirby with a very short duration is probably the best starting point you can hope for.

I am a "realist". Vote in the Kirby and we will be stuck with another "bottom of the barrel" CBA for 10+ more years. "Very short duration" does not exist with this management culture. There will never be unity here. That fate was sealed May of 2007.

I have an interest in airlines. Get over it. Mostly I stay on the Water Cooler threads these days. I do wander over here a little and frankly I love to tweek the pilot groups.

See there was a time when I actually used to care what happened at US and was quite active behind the scenes. NOW? Don't really care so much due to a specific incident that convinced me the situation is totally and completely hopeless for a customer.
So you admit your only interest here is to tweak the pilot groups with your inane blather.

You sure like tweaking others. Remember what you said about a poor, young kid? Yep, big, tough guy making fun of a teen with a drug addicted parent.

Says a lot about your character.

It's like when my Junkie Ex's 14yr old got arrested for breaking into a house. Cops brought him home and I said "You know I don't know which is worse, you breaking into a house or being so bleeping stupid as to get caught"

Remember when you easties did have unity? You:

- achieved concessions greater than the company's ask (LOA93)
- gave away your pensions
- voted in USAPA and solidified the Nic
- failed in your DOH cramdown
- were enjoined
- were parked

Who is talking about voting for the Kirby? The west thinks the Kirby sucks. Is the east thinking about voting for the Kirby? Would you vote for the Kirby if you got DOH?

What I don't understand is you scream about how bad the Kirby is and you don't want to get stuck on bottom of the barrel wages for 10 years. Um look around. You are stuck at the bottom of the barrel wages for 10 years. And most of you seem content to stay there.

What was it usapa told us a long time ago. "Watch what they do not what they say." we have been watching you east guys scream about not voting for a bad contract while watching you do everything you can to stay on bad contracts.

While the Kirby sucks LOA 93 is worse and you all just hold on to that thing like a security blanket.

Fate was sealed April 18, 2008.

The east is the only side that publicly stated the Kirby was acceptable.

Did you forget that one? Ask Bradford.

All excellent points but I have to add.

NLG says "very short duration does not exist with this management culture", once again proving the east is completely clueless about their situation or who they are dealing with, here is why,

Contract 2004 was a two year contract. Very short duration. Now since we met the east it is 8 years old and became amendable over 5 years ago!

I say let them wallow in LOA93 as long as they like, when we get the bump and flush provision from the company, they can try and STFD on their way out the door.

No one wants you here SH.

Go away.

Then start your own message board and make the rules.

SH has every right to post, and you have no right to tell him not too!

And you dont speak for every member on this board.

I'm not the only one.

SH, by self-admission, comes here only to tweak both pilot groups.

I have every right to tell him that just like the others have. I don't have the ability to ban him.

Big difference.

If you do t like it, start your own message board and make the rules.

And 3525 +s say I've got this board's ear.

It is clear with the AFA TA, PSA AFA TA, and US Airways' position on the DJ case the company is moving forward to close out new contracts. And, I believe US Airways is supporting implementation of the Nicolau Award. With USAPA's legal reputation and success I believe US Airways is now forcing implementation of the Nicolau Award and desires an expedited contract sooner rather than later.

Usairways can't "force" anything unless they are released from negotiations and the cooling off period has expired. If they were really interested in quickly obtaining a contract they would act as a facilitator to bring the two pilot groups together. ... From what I hear from the F/As, thier contract is hardly a sure thing....

IF we were to merge with AA wouldn't USAPA be gone and what is APA's seniority integration policy?
