Dave I never offered or agreed to meet you in CLT. You still think that was me at the district elections in CLT? I wasn't there haven't been in CLT for months and have no plans to return.

I believe by the end of next year is what I heard, but last time they got favorable lease terms so they were kept longer. But the A332 are suppose to replace the 767s.

Every word from "above" since early summer is that the US 762s will be gone by the end of February, 2015.

Since there are no more A330 deliveries scheduled, it would be hard to argue that the 6 or 7 767s are going to be replaced with anything.

As we seem to be taking delivery on 773's faster than on 737s, is there any chance that your side of the house might get some of them, or we "replace" 772s with 773s and you get the 772s?  Is that permitted before we become one airline in every aspect?

The A332s that were delivered over the past couple of years were ordered and were sufficient to replace the 762s. The huge buildup of international flying from CLT has come to an end (no more GIG, GRU, the four new 2014 summer flights, the 2d daily FRA and maybe even BCN and FCO won't return next summer). In sum, the new A332s replaced the 762s.

and to Jim's question, it is likely true that some of AA's 767s might be better suited for the CLT market in time while the 330s at least technically might be better suited from some of AA's larger hubs. how soon that will be allowed isn't clear.

If I recall correctly, the pilots' MOU provides that until a joint CBA is reached, all flying to Asia belongs to pmAA pilots and all PHX-Hawai'i flying belongs to pmUS pilots. Nothing about TATL flying, so if AA wanted to fly AA metal between CLT or PHL and Europe, it's permissible. No different from US metal that is already flying some traditional AA metal domestic routes. Obviously, the crews all have to match the metal until everyone is cross-trained and the SOC is issued.

Did you not see the new schedule loaded?

Next summer, all European flights will be flown with A330s.

Schedule here:
730 London Heathrow 6:55pm 7:50am A330-300
732 London Heathrow 10:30pm 11:25am A330-200
724 Dublin 6:40pm 7:15am A330-200
786 Paris Charles de Gualle 4:45pm 6:55am A330-300
704 Frankfurt 4:35pm 7:20am A330-200
706 Frankfurt 8:25pm 11:10am A330-200
720 Rome 6:20pm 9:45am A330-300
830 Barcelona 6:20pm 8:55am A330-200
748 Madrid 4:45pm 7:10am A330-200

This is the airline industry just because it is loaded now doesn't mean it will operate next summer. A lot can change in seven months.
