sorry but BOS cannot support the level of int'l service it has were it not for B6 as well as other domestic feed.
more than 15% of JL's traffic on BOS-NRT using even a 787 is domestic connecting traffic.
in every case, all of the carriers who are starting BOS service also have large hubs on the other end.
it is true that a lot of BOS int'l traffic flew thru NYC in the past but BOS is very close to becoming oversaturated esp. to Asia.
