I'll get my money back, but my point was that this so called "new and improved" website is a piece of crap if it can't keep the charges correct. I am veteran online booker; while the first mistake was mine by picking the wrong dates, having the website tell me my card is bad eventhough my card was charged is something nobody should have to deal with. The whole point of the website is to avoid having to hound reservations with stupid stuff as what I am going through. This just adds onto their workpile at the same time while their numbers are shrinking. It's a mess and it's only going to get worse.

Oh, you are preaching to the choir about bad websites and horrific automated phone trees, but if it's any consolation, it's not just US Airways anymore.

I spent over 20 years in the computer industry, and if I get one more snot-nosed 20-something smarta** telling me that the error must be that I don't know how to use the computer, that "everything is fine on this end", I'm going to crawl through the phone and commit mayhem on someone.

P.S. I just closed out the last of my accounts at BofA because they redefine incompetent for this generation of bankers and are incapable of admitting error until my lawyer contacts them. About a year ago, they took a substantial amount of money out of my checking account. It took me six months and a letter from my lawyer to get my money back. Fortunately, he did it as a freebie because he hates them too.

Jim, I am not happy with BOA right now either. They made the US Airways reservations phone tree look good. Took five phone calls to get through to a live person that would check the charges. Unfortunately, both my cards are with this bank, US Airways Dividend Miles and America West Flight Fund. I hate to say this to everyone but I am closing out the US Airways card and going to have both under Flight Fund since US and AWA are who I fly the most. I just don't see the point of adding miles to US anymore. Maybe a miracle will happen to change my mind.
