Have been thinking the same thing. "Mirror Image" comes to mind.
I have to agree. Fortunately, the difference being that US Airways had to hire thousands of employees because of the way they did business. e.g. inhouse utility at all stations, mechanics to pushback a/c At least we are talking parity and not adding more costly jobs.
The new US Airways knew this merger was going to happen, so I wonder why they didn't bring the US East salaries inline at the time of our last give backs.
And by the way, as far as the f/a's are comcerned, we aren't talking about a huge amt of money.
