did your MEC and MC agree to binding arbitration?

Did your MEC and MC understand (you should with all your experience) the potential consequences of binding arbitration?

If the answer is yes then why all the hate and discontent?

Do you blame me and my fellow AWA pilots for your career problems?

Yes ALPA did.

Yes ALPA did.

Naive.

No, but did you know a few years ago your Director of ops, chief pilot and flight crew manager were flying drugs into the United States and they got caught. Now if I understand this correctly if you think I am responsible for my leaders action you are a drug pusher and I am a Welcher. So if you agree you are a drug pusher I will agree I am a Welcher, because you see none of us had any say of our leaders.

Okay. Point taken. Why is it naive to think your hate and discontent stems from the Nic award? This was the prescribed process which both parties agreed to. And if you believe you have no voice in the process try a recall. We out west are pros at the recall thing.

Are you serious about the drug thing? If so PM me with the details...

Interesting. I've heard it all before but have never seen it laid out in an article.

What publication originally carried this report?

Wow! Truly a black eye for the AWA side. However it still stands that you guys could have tried a recall (not something you can do to management pilots). Nobody out east raised any concern when the east MEC passed a resolution directing the MC to seek DOH only. All of the pilots out east knew that this is contrary to ALPA merger policy. Yet no voices were heard declaring unfairness. So it leads me to believe you all knew exactly what you were getting into. It bit you in the butt and now you don't like it. Plain and simple.

If you were not proclaiming your discontent with your MEC/MC's position during seniority negotiations then you have no right to complain. Fact is all of you believed you should be the sole beneficiaries of this merger. We traveled down the path of arbitration, now be men and deal with it.

Lemme get this straight: All we needs must do to become "men" in your three years of airline flying eyes...is toss people we've known, and flown with for many years underneath you in "seniority"....That about right?..Sigh...I think that, despite the huge respect I fully have for your opinion and experience....that I can live without your personal blessing.

I suggest some thought about the winter of our discontent with Alpo out east not being largely based on the Nic nonsense. It's a culmination of decades of observing Alpo do nothing..repeat NOTHING for the nation's pilots, nor our group. For the AWA? = Alpo's wonderfull..just look at the Nic deal. You've simply not seen them in action for long enough to understand our perceptions, which have been built over many years. Where was Alpo during the fight against pension theft/termination?..Oh, that's right = there wasnt any fight...and that's just one issue. The entire list would choke bandwidth for weeks.

"Our pilots for America West have a history of drug running, cool. Now I have been a pilot for 3 years and you have lived an honest career for 20 years, I believe you have insulted me with your lack of integrity........................................................"

Regardless of what you think my experience is, yes that is what you must do. Why? Because that is the agreement you guys made. And again if you claim you had no voice in the matter and ALPA forced you into this position then why don't you show me where you were crying out foul when you heard of your MEC/MC's position? And why should I pay for the crimes committed by previous managements. This has eveything to do with the condition you were in PRIOR to the merger. I assume this where you will bring up zanzibar. Let me just say that we both helped out our financial positions so therfore we all should benefit from the merger.

It's almost as if your dad bought you a gun and now you want to sue the manufacturer because you shot yourself in the leg, claiming you had no idea it was dangerous!!!!!

It's their fault! It's their fault! Yeah. That's not what I'd call being a man...

In reality you have done nothing but blamed someone else for all of your misfortune. BTW does the 3yrs bother you? You keep bringing that up in an attempt to divert the conversation.

Did you or did you not cry foul when you lerned of your MEC/MC's position concerning the seniority integration?

Sigh..Son  I learned firearms and their proper usage when 5 years old. ..that'd go with many years with yet ten toes .

You're welcome to your opinions..which I need not choose to fret much over

In Life? = None of us ever know that...the youngest merely suppose  In commercial aviation? Depends on whether I get fed up with it, which, due to the people I get to work with, ain't happened as of yet  I'd certainly like to stick around long enough to not see such people flying "junior" to your bunch, so that's a few intended years at least  After which? You can lust after my "number", in the farthest reaches of your current career perspective's ability

As I said in another post, it is a serious black eye. However, given the time that has passed since the crime and not to mention the fact that none of those people work here anymore, I'm inclined to believe that you are reaching. Kind of like my young son would do to try and deflect some of the blame to his younger sibling.

Did you cry foul when you learned of your MEC/MC's position regarding the seniority integration?

Not lusting after your "number." Just trying to get a little perspective...

Tiger 1050 does not want to answer the drug running question. He does not care about you sons or daughters. He only wants to leap ahead of real airline pilots because he has three years in the business. Sound familiar. He is not the solution, he is part of the problem. Black eye he says. Does this help your grieving when thinking how the drug problem hurt your families, ether by use crime or tax dollars.
