Yes, and it's absolutely more fair than what we asked for (even after being told we weren't getting it).

I also think that if we would have asked Nicolau for a 35% LOS - 65% Catagory/Status weighting he would have given it to us.

We got less than we could have but it's our fault for forcing the MC to adopt ing an absolute DOH/LOS position.

Trader, this is getting tiresome. One more time. Both PI and AAA were "told" by an arbitrator they were not getting want each wanted. They indeed got straight DOH with a few pitiful protections for 76 PI pilots (bad on PI for never even asking to protect narrow body pilots.) Largest pilot merger in American History, went the same way as PSA, Mohawk, and Lake Central. There has only been one completed merger on this property since then, and it was the Shuttle merger with its own problems (ala EAL) also bungled by that aged idiot Nic. As to getting "less than we could" I can only fault you for not having the ability to be elected (or even choosing to run) to represent your fellow pilots and make your own case. I was. And would do exactly the same knowing what I knew then. RR

The largest pilot merger in American history, is that Delta - Northwest or United - Continental?

You're living in the past.

That would be you living in the past. Those are recent ALPA mergers. Their process proved to be so hideous and unfair that ALL the pilots, by majority, of US Airways chose to leave that corrupt union. Again, you have never had an elected say in anything, other than as a single member with one vote of thousands. Your opinion is similar to our rectums, everyone has one. RR

The courts are exempt from the shutdown. Sorry, I know how much you wanted to delay this. Not happening!

Fine, we'll continue to merge after Silver slices and cooks their Onion. We have our own reps anyway and the company knows it. They sit in the corner and sulk for all I care. Bunch of irrelevant crybabies.

Your "reps" were (finally) elected under the CBL of USAPA, sanctioned by law following an NMB election. They have no more importance or status than a PHL rep or a CLT rep. Get over it. The back stabbing Company has only their opinion and Siegel’s special relationship with Silver. RR

Careful RR, the PHL pilots will want their own status now!

Whoa, I don't wear knickers.
But I do bet you wear kulats.

There's no majic coming, just a friendly taunt between pals.

The die was cast long ago and absent the American merger (which I give a one in three chance of happening) you, luvthe9, and breeze will get your wish of retiring on LOA 93.

What I can't image is the kind of person who reneges on a mutually agreed upon arbtration process and then expects support from the opposition. The West are having to spend their own time and money (as well as having their union dues used against them) to keep USAPA from stealing what they are legally and ethically entittled to.

When you try to steal a man's job you should expect a little blowback

No, you are totally wrong. You are taking the stand of stupidity. What if you were truly convicted of a crime you never committed. Would you take the same attitude and lamely go off to jail without an appeal? The Nicolau was totally out of bounds. Putting a new hire with a 17 yr guy was totally wrong. The ratios were absolutely out of sync with every other integration.
The West was warned over and over the East group had a LEGAL remedy available to stop what they correctly perceived as an award gone wrong. Wye River. The West was advised of the risk of not working an appeal when they KNEW they could be out voted. They took the dare, and they got USAPA. In light of that, I have NO problem now. They ran the gamble and now they have to deal with the result. The possibility of the East pilots voting in a new a new bargaining agent was in the Wests' face for a long time, and they let it go to a vote. All legal. Legal. So drop the integrity crap and all the righteousness BS. They took the gamble and lost. Now they whine and whine. Tough crap now pal. Live with All the Risk Lies With The West because it did and they took the dare and lost.

I love how deathly afraid you are of losing control. I can assure you of this: you will lose it. The West will be allowed to take the gloves off one way or another.

Always a threat without any legal standing. You took the dare. I read the " they won't get 200 cards " on this very board. Live with your stupid dare. You have NO choice now.
You have no clue as to what YOU let happen when you failed to compromise.

HA!!!! USAPA was the biggest mistake of your life...aside from accepting recall to an obviously loser airline.
