The west still doesn't understand that a federal judge can't get inside of a unions bargaining process. USAPA has every right to continue with DOH and negotiate C&R's. Freund warned you guys and you didn't listen. USAPA can't bargain anything with the army.

You'd better start thinking. We have.

Exactly... I'm looking at case precedence - TWA (bk) and American version 2. Put the top 330 captain half way down the AWA list.
I'm glad you are set to compromise. :D

"The parties shall file a status report regarding settlement discussions no later than May 21, 2013."

I think you are missing Silver's point of settlement discussions. Her order requiring the defendant to enter into discussion with the plaintiff is a very interesting approach when the 9th took great aims to steer clear of interfering with an internal union dispute. Before anyone assumes too much into what she intends to do, or even has authority to do... think it through.

If the NIC wasn't such a windfall for the west. We wouldn't be here.
what about the west claim that they can't compromise an reach a deal because they have no authority to negotiate.

it's clear it won't be the nic

I'm looking out for the pilots of my renamed airline. They deserve better than 500 or below.

If Judge Silver wants something other than the Nic, we have attorneys who can present a list.

No conditions or restrictions attached.

Should the court put the presentations and requests of your attorney's where they put everything else they attempted?

If you were there, didn't you get the impression Judge Silver had to be educated by US Airways. attorney, Siegel? I have to admit, he was the best attorney in court today.

That doesn't surprise me. Everytime I've heard him speak I've been impressed. Doug hires the best. That's why we AWA pilots are so friggin' incredible. B)

Ummm... DOH is dead. Silver said so. And the case is ripe against usapa, btw

USAPA should schedule a meeting with the NMB ASAP. The NMB has to be made aware of what Judge Silver is trying to do. She can't make USAPA bargain with the army.

Nicolau with Conditions and Restrictions to Protect the 12 330 wide body flying. Fair for everyone.
Lets get this done!!!

If she already knows that she can't dictate a negotiating position to a union then consider what it means that she is asking for a status report regarding settlement discussions...
