April/May 2013 Pilot Discussion

Last time I checked my last name wasn't Nicolau.
I flew as Captain at a commuter with guys as FO that had been airforce fighter pilots and others that had flown 747s.
I had a lot of respect for them and their experience.
Some of them had probably forgotten more than I had learned.
Age had nothing to due with it.
It's career choices aka luck
Sorry you're pissed.
Maybe you'll end up senior to me after it all goes down.
I don't plan on being pissed.
Have a good night.

Right, luck, that's the important thing in life! Give me a break, dirtball!

You've seen a DOH list? Please post it. Penn and Teller live...

There are two of them that exist and are in use as we speak. Assuming you are a member in good standing, you can look them up yourself on the USAPA web site.

So, what are you planning to do on the Aug Bid? Oh, that's right NIC or nothing, never mind.

I believe the correct response would be, "apple and oranges." At that commuter we were not part of a merger. With your reasoning, if a merger had occured those individuals would have jumped ahead of me. Don't feel bad, sometimes the student becomes the teacher:)

Bean

Whatever you say "grasshopper"!

DJ US Airways v. Addington et. Al: "The appellant’s opposed motion to stay appellate proceedings is denied.
The opening brief is due June 5, 2013. The answering briefs are due July 5, 2013, and the optional reply brief is due within 14 days after service of the answering brief." That is all.

How about that!

Lists currently in effect are also availible on wings.usairways.com

So much for the west claiming a cohesive pilot group. The following excerpt is embarrassing to the west pilots and the legal profession. Desperation litigation.

"Barely more than half of the West Pilots with positions on the Nicolau Award list
participated in the MOU ratification vote. Only about 2/3 of the members of the putative
West Pilot Class participated. Even if the MOU were an overt vote on whether to
abandon the Nicolau Award (which it was not), this subgroup of West Pilots cannot
consent to abandonment of the Nicolau Award for the entire West Pilot Class. The Court
should find, therefore, that even if USAPA were not estopped from making such a
defense, the MOU ratification vote could not, and did not, release USAPA from its duty
to implement the Nicolau Award."

Dated this 3rd day of May, 2013.

That's BS and you know it. You can't wash the stench off of what you guys are trying to do. The whole industry had pilots on furlough after the tragic events of 911.
I don't want your capt spots by any means but I do want the upgrade in DCA when the guys I have been flying with retire. If AA guys were on furlough during this then we should look at longevity.

You don't plan on being pissed because you have plenty of time to make up whatever happens. This is the last shot for many of us

Real internet tough guy aren't you. Why do I have a feeling if we met face to face, all I'd get is the silent treatment.

Bean

Gee, I don't know why you feel that way, but PM me and we can discuss a face to face if you so desire, dirtball!

This, on the other hand, means something:

IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF ARIZONA

Don Addington; et al, vs.

CASE NO. 2:13-CV-00471-ROS
ORDER

Plaintiffs,
US Airline Pilots Ass’n; and US Airways,

Inc.,

Defendants.

page1image11680

THE COURT, having considered Plaintiffs’ motion for preliminary injunction, Doc. 13, responses thereto and oral argument, and good cause appearing,
ORDERS as follows: US Airline Pilots Association and US Airways, Inc., (and their successors) must participate in the pilot seniority integration process as specifically provided for in the Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Contingent Collective Bargaining Agreement and, in so doing, must use an unmodified Nicolau Award to define the seniority order of the US Airways pilots.

Careful about throwing those stones in your glass house. You replaced the union to circumvent binding arbitration and staple our pilot group. Go ask a random Delta or Alaska pilot which side stinks to high heaven. Why should I play catch up because of your career failings? Some east pilots on here I can relate to, because they are trying to right what they see as a wrong. Others on here I have zero patience for because it's obvious they are just after the whole enchilada and could care less about wronging the west.

This is a proposed order suggested by the west pilot army of lyingitas amateur pilot attorneys. It was not issued by the court. Nice try.

You, posting misinformation, is common amongst the west pilot classless.

Previously you were a regional america west pilot based in LAS or PHX. Presently, you are a regional america west pilot based in PHX.

Nothing was taken away from you sans your unrealistic expectations.
