Now I'm running at the lip!!! Wow!! I was on here answering people's questions until you started your crying. You seem like maybe you got picked on a lot when you were growing up or something.
You try to act credible to people on here, but then when someone that's known you for over 20 yrs now starts to discuss things with you, you seem to get upset. Is it because I know the real Tim, and know what he's after?
everyone knows the real Tim. I post under my realname. Ive been wrong in my life probably more than ive been right but, yes, you are running at the lip. Post the damn loa and let your children review it for themselves. Whats the fuss?

Ever think, oh wait you dont think.

They are probably crossing the T's and dotting the I's and both the IAM and US legal departments are probably looking it over before its signed.

Since you arent a member of the NC nor have you ever been, I guess you dont know the whole process.

" Let your children review ? ". WTF Is That suppose to mean? Is that an insult to the membership that reads this forumn?
it is a reference to the paternal way our eboard acts. They need to post the loa. Cb said they got two loa and i read the one on the twu site and 142. But neither is posted on 141. We are adults and we can read so cb needs to make sure the loa are posted. Oh, one last thing, i also know what these clowns are proposing and it isnt what theu are beating their chest on. I just hope they dont embarass us so bad that we have to turn it down. They set the asking price waaaaaayyyy low and my concern is that ah will take it lower and guys like cb will take it. The only real hope in negotiations is prez who has an independent mind. Post the damn loa is what i say. Whats the fuss?

Tim, you keep asking about the LOA. Why? I've told you I can't post it on here. When it gets posted, it will be post on the district web site. It's not my decision when that is. So why keep asking? And now your calling all the members " children" maybe you should slow down and think before you speak. I've always told everyone that you are your own worse enemy, as soon as people really get to know you they will see. But why call members children? The same members you ask to support you for District Pres. Wow!

I saw the letter that rich delaney put on the 141 website but i take it it is not the loa however as 700 pointed out the cmpny n the union attorneys are most likely dottin the I s and crossin the T s to be sure id imagine the spellin has to be 100% accurate correct cb

I would have to say some happy, some not. But the membership vote will decide that. But I have never seen a T/A where everyone is happy. We have such a diverse group, that what may be the most important thing for one, maybe way down the list for another. For ex: pension. Some people say don't put another penny in it. Some people say try your best to get it back so we don't lose anything. That's just one issue along with many, that your never going to make everyone happy. But that's something you know going into negotiations.

Yeah, I know you can't make everyone happy, I was just trying to get an idea overall. I think a majority of the posters here are actually like minded (whether they know or like it or not) and it was a good benchmark to use. Thanks.

what loa? Post it. Until then what did we give up? Our prior stance was a comprehensive contract like 142 is still pursuing. Why did we agree to shift? This is the sorta thing i was concerned about and it is consistent with other failed strategies. Our nc would do better just following 142and let 142 go first before we toss in comprehensive talks for a cinderrelli clause that expires and places us back at "go" after 3 years of talks. Jax deserves something better than a cinderrella clause. If it allows u to retire in a year then fine but jax deserves better. As far as ord, the loa signed for seniority is appreciated and thanks to the twu 141 and 142. regards
The "cindererrelli clause" that you speak of just saved more than 30 jobs in JAX. Not sure how many in RNO. Your position of what did we give up speaks volumes of one not affected. Had the union waited for something better I and my fellow members in JAX and RNO would have been on the outside looking in. By next April the members in the other "several" stations would have faced the same fate. This LOA represents the first meaningful result in protecting the work from the district in years. Does JAX and RNO deserve better? I would say yes. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to wait.

personally i actually like u. R u an ####? Yes but so am i. Im enjoying an island drink right now as i scratch my nuts. I believe i said i won the majoritof usairways votes in phx phl. Regards

Tim,

My opinion of you is that you are a smart guy who really could help this Union if you were a team player. By team player I mean that you fight for what is right and if it isn't exactly what you wanted you come out with the team. Unfortunately, you take a stance of all or nothing. If you would bury your pride and battle with us as opposed to against us, the possibilities of making this a better place to work would be enormous. I ask you to build the bridge and work with us for the betterment of this Union and all of the employees involved. That is all any of us in leadership positions are doing, trying to make it better. When I have been around other leaders in this Union disagreements happen but in the end we walk out together. I don't agree with anyone 100% of the time, but I don't come out and tell people that we should have done this or that.

This is not my show, it is a team and we make the best decisions possible and stick together. My fight is against wrong and for the membership and I am always trying to figure out a different approach to accomplish goals. Let the past be the past and mend fences and see how you can be a part of making it better. I sincerely mean what I say.

there were two loa. Thankfully the twu posted the loa regarding seniority and i applaud all parties, twu, iam, management as it looks like seniority is going to be seamless. Thats big for ord. But my concerns about the other loa stem from cb comments that said "now that we got that out of the way we can focus on other items until joint talks'. I may not have quoted him exactly but that particular statement kills leverage. Thats why i wanted to see the loa and i dont know why it has to b so secret. PJ, lets wait till we read it, thats all. But the problem still remains. If cb is correct and they have already conceeded a comprehensive proposal then our nc screwed us. 142 has kept a comprehensive proposal and the heat on ah. Ah scored BIGTIME if 141 has shifted. At the end of the day, neither district is going to get a brand new exhaustive contract but the one that folds too quick is gonna get considerably less. I have no problem following 142 lead. They have some line stations that can get whacked probably but they seem to be holding tight. Regards

M&R dont have stations to get whacked.

There are protected stations, along with heavy mtc and 7 other stations must be kept open at the company's discretion.

Line maintenance stations will include at a minimum
33 BOS, CLT, DCA, LGA, PHL, PHX, LAS, LAX and at least seven
34 (7) other stations as determined by the Company

"They have some line stations that can get whacked probably but they seem to be holding tight." Would you like to come to JAX or RNO or any of the other several stations about to get whacked and try to explain your reasonoing? You do realize you are talking about members' careers and livelihoods when you make such a callous statement don't you? You question what we gave up for a LOA that protects the work in outline stations while we negotiate a new CBA; yet it's pretty obvious, what you feel would be justified, as a sacrifice for holding tight based on your statement. The members in the line stations. Bring that reasoning to JAX (Pittsburgh south) and see what kind of reception you'll get Brother.
