Another School Massacre

I probably have been to far more places (and have lived in far more diverse countries than you will ever).

For many people - FREEDOM has nothing to do with the ability to OWNING A GUN.

You would be wise to avoid any wagers on that first. Your following observation indicates that you've most certainly NOT spent time in many locations I've experienced: " Show me anything else that you can do here in America, that you can't do ANYWHERE else in this world..."

"For many people - FREEDOM has nothing to do with the ability to OWNING A GUN." "People"...or sheep?

"Again, you are equating FREEDOM with gun-freaks having the ability to own 30+ registered guns." "gun-freaks"?..and "30+ registered guns"? Nowhere can I find any reference to "30+ registered guns". It'd demonstrate a bit of discerning wisdom on your part to avoid such childish hysteria whenever addressing any other people as "freaks"...just sayin'.. :)

And I am still waiting for you to show me something else that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

Substance please....

Any country that does not provide free secondary education (college & university), as well as free healthcare, is not a free country.

You would, by that at least, necessarily feel right at home in any number of communist countries who fully agree with those notions....well...except for the "free country" part of course.

And I am still waiting for you to show me something else that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

Throw on your best bikini and walk around Riyadh, or better yet Mecca, holding a Bible, just for starters. Get back to us all afterwards (if you can) and I'll offer up other such reasonable suggestions for field trips to test your theory further. :) Perhaps it'd be easier if you simply list your vast travels and life experiences, so we could adjust down to what you actually know anything about. Full and fair disclosure requires noting that I've not been to Mecca myself.

I asked you to show me something that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

You can wear a bikini, hell - even go naked in Brazil, and most European countries. And even hold a bible to cover your genitals... if you must. LOL

Again, show me something that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

You are giving me your typical "the communist are gonna come get me," "the Arabs/muslims are bad people," and so on - typical American paranoia non-sense ramble.

CONCENTRATE and FOCUS pleazzzz.... something that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

1) Try walking naked down main streets of most major cities of european nations and then we'll talk. Heck...take a stroll into the vatican, just for starters. Let us all know how your notions truly test out. Ya' got me on Brazil, since the last time I was there was '73, and only saw a bit of Sao Paulo at that.

2) Oh! I'd misunderstood your intent. I'd assumed that "anywhere else in the world" was an all-encompassing, universal coverage. Heck! If you're to argue that any given activity denotes an area as equally or more "free", then I most certainly agree that other areas are even more "free", as in locations in warring African regions where slavery, genocide, rapine and even cannibalism's still quite fashionable.

Believe me; I am NOT trumpeting out that the USA is nowadays a truly "free" country. Quite the contrar;y in that I'm seriously concerned with the hidious erosion of indivdual Rights that I've already personaly seen..and wish to see that trend halted. Surrendering personal weapons of citizens has NEVER been shown to accomplish that ANYWHERE!

Again, show me something that you can do in the USA, that you can't do anywhere else in this world.

YOU CAN GO NAKED INTO A CHURCH or WALK NAKED ON THE STREET (IN PROTEST) AND GET ARRESTED IN THE USA. YOU CAN ALSO DO IT IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND GET ARRESTED AS WELL.

With all due respect, I still would like you to back yourself up on this statement.

".....and are still as free as anyone. "...? = That's wholesale BS that you've not the slightest material to back up in any debate. Name so much as ONE country that enjoys the same level of individal Rights as the USA? Hint: If you begin by noting those who's governments have disarmed them,...well...the point's already made, even if you're willfully oblivious to it.

You brought this subject on yourself...

You, please, name me the one thing that you can do in the USA, that you can't do in ANY other country in the world. If you are that good of a debater, you better have some solid facts to back yourself up. It is one thing to pretend to be smart by trying to sound smart, but another one to actually be smart.

I have still to hear one smart FACT with regards to your comment above without going mental about Arabs, Muslims, Communists, Bikini wearers (I suppose you wear trunks) :)http://www.coolpictu...beach-fail.html, LOL and so on...

No argument there. Shall we start by inquiring into your willfully overlooking a pertinent phrase? = Hint: If you begin by noting those who's governments have disarmed them,...well...the point's already made, even if you're willfully oblivious to it. So I just saw in the news that this Mr. Dorner had something in the vicinity of 30 registered guns.... Hmmmmm.... Ohhh well, the constitution guarantees US guns, doesn't it?

:)

I think they should have given those killed cops guns to protect themselves from the bad guy....

You do know that he was an ex-cop? Imagine if he was still on the force and went coo-coo for cocopuffs!

You said that liberals were spineless. You did not say that liberals and conservatives were spineless. So it would seem by your statement that you believe conservatives are not spineless. Bush, Cheney and Nugent are but 3 examples of spineless conservatives. Bush bravely guarded IN from foreign invaders when he decided to show up. Cheney got not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 but 5, yes 5 deferments. Nugent got a 4a by not showering for a month and defecating on him self.

So do us a favor and put your brush down and step away.

I believe that you only wear blinders in issues that don't concern you. Such waste of human energy

You seem to overlook the fact, and I'll condescend to your level, that we have evolved to not be perfect. There are idiot conservatives, liberals and ANY human being that breathes. I find it amusing how to you it is always an US vs. THEM situation with US being you, being the one who is always RIGHT!

Politicics belong to the citizens of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, not some Euro...

Not so. What's tragically killed thousands of our brave young people there, has been nothing more or less than being "politically correct" and "sensitive". The initial victory over Iraq in '91, when it then fielded the world's 4th largest military, as well as the campaign of '03, both resulted in arguably the most one-sided, military triumphs in contemporary or extended history. What killed so many after '03 was essentially the product of a "be nice" mentality, that prohibited forces from aggressive actions required for secure subjugation, and instead set them up as little more than targets for ied's and ambushes. Anyone ever needing to know who's responsible for such tragic and entirely pointless losses need look no farther than Washington DC.

Yes, we have become a military of wimps and cry babies. Now don't ask and don't tell

Go read up on the battle of Stalingrad and other eastern front battles and learn about how those battles were fought verses how the US was conducting it's self in Iraq.

WWII was fought with far different rules of engagement than the current conflicts and, big point here. The Taliban still lost. No military conflict is 100% effective. Even the Jewish resistance had a few successes against the Germans.

I still fail to see how this conversation has anything to do with what we are discussing.

What you fail to see is that yesterday's war is not today's war. Most of the time, the war is won or a draw by the landowner more so than the invader.

I might have misunderstood your question but a woman cannot drive in Saudi Arabia but she can drive here.

I would made the comparison to other where 'free' elections are held and have some sort of representative government. Take Germany, not sure they are any less or more free than we are. Same with Japan, UK, Australia, France, ......

I think comparing the US or any similar nation to most nations the ME , China, N. Korea.... is lily on its face and not the intent of your question at least as far how I read it.
