You mean aside from the evidence in countries all around the world that have strict gun regulations where bombings have not increased?
Are you incapable of dealing in reality or do you just not like it? You have this habit if presenting a conclusion with no facts or reality to support it.

At least two Pittsburgh area school districts got special permission on Sunday to arm their security officers when classes resume on Monday, the first school day after the Newtown, Conn., massacre.
Butler County President Judge Thomas Doerr gave the Butler Area and South Butler school districts special permission on Sunday to have their qualified school police officers -- all Pennsylvania State Police retirees -- carry their personal service weapons in school buildings.
Butler is not alone in employing armed guards; 118 of Pennsylvania's 498 school districts use them, along with 14 alternative education institutions, according to the State Department of Education.

Why arm school guard with guns? Do you trust a school guard that makes minimum wage to take good aim in a school full of kids?
Why not give them pepper spray, can shoot a stream or fog from 30 ft away?

I'd have no problem with that, but let me ask you...do you think any of those signs played a role in school shootigs? I mean, the guy MIGHT be kind of stupid if he wasn't quite sure where he wanted to blow people away and instead relied on a sign to tell him where there weren't any guns.
FWIW- Sandy Hook three weeks prior had a school board vote to keep it as a gun free zone and even bragged about it on the school website.

Look at you people......first you cry about nobody does anything and now viable alternatives are offered and you pick them apart.
Countries with heavy restrictions on weapons may not have mass murders but they do still have violent crime.
And security personnell wigging out is possible but less likely than what happened and I'd feel more comfortable with armed, trained security and some teachers on the property.
So we eliminate alll guns from the face of the earth and all is well....
How about a gallon of gasoline and a match??

In a perfect world, our elected leaders would revisit the second amendment to see if it is still necessary as written.
In a perfect world, mental health can be dealt with in the best interests of the patient and the public.
In a perfect world, parents wouldnt take babies to batman movies or buy children video games anymore violent than pac man or space invaders
In a perfect world gun people would be responsible and not allow guns to get into the hands of common street thugs for the sake of making a buck so they can create a self fulfilling prophesy that guns are necessary for self defense.
That would be a perfect world that we can all share. It wouldnt eliminate the problem but it would make us safer as a whole
Mental health has been dealt with by the Liberals and the ACLU so whats the issue there? It is necessary to integrate these people into schools and society for the betterment of all and it seems like it has been working very well don't you agree?

I believe it will be retired police, ex military ( uh oh...HHS has them on the list) and not your mall cop. And being as they would be working for a school district which is unionized.......wages????

There are plenty of people out there who are qualified to carry and would be 'trustworthy' such as ex military or LEO's but the only way any of this makes any sense to me is if it is a last resort as if all other measures have been taken to prevent a gun from come on campus in the first place. By the time a gunman is on campus it is way too late. The childrens lives are in jeopardy already. The goal should be to prevent the gun man from getting a hold of the gun in the first place, not preventing him from shooting someone once he already has it.
