Yes, he did. The American people did not see this side that "we" all knew about him, when he was barnstorming the nation as our Saviour, and, yes the right talking heads were trying to say.

Hardly out of line. Its a recognition of the cowboy diplomacy of the last 8 years. The fact that we can, and do make mistakes. If we cannot critique and be honest about ourselves, then how to we expect to be taken seriously by the other countries of the world?
Of course mistakes are made Micky. But, there was not another terrorist attack after 9/11, which i will remind you, the signs, and opportunity to supress the threat, were there before Mr. W.

what is unfolding today goes back a little more than just the last 8 years..
but a leader does not or should not lump all citizens and generalize.. 'we are all arrogant to those outside our borders', that is just plain ignorant.
