In the 03 concessions TWU 514 was able to roll call support to keep as much for themselves as possible over the higher cost of living locations.

Because of the very existence and size that TWU 514 commanded was an assurance that it would survive any attempts to allow more outsourcing so Line Maintenance could equal the rest of the industry in wages.

“Many” Line Mechanics hated you TUL Mechanics because just like DFW for Fleet you all never cared that wage cuts for more expensive locations would be much harder than on you.

Point the finger at whoever you want pal but you ain’t pointing your own greed in mine or my Groups direction.

I earned a Marksmanship ribbon in the USAF during basic training if you need to know though.

Technically the NMB doesn’t put any groups who are under their guidance under the RLA “on ice”. They just stretch out the meeting dates when movement is slow.

But to answer your question. As long as you’re out there “entertaining”, you can absolutely count on it that I will also be out there.

Dont you agree that it would be fair to allow the members to vote on the last offer as opposed to 3 people deciding what is best?
If employees vote, then the union will finally have the consent of the members. There is an offer out there.

That I know of there are at least 6 people who are currently in direct negotiations with the Company. Alex Garcia, Mike Mays, Gary Peterson, Sito Pantoja, Tom Regan and Tim Klima. From there the President’s and AGC’s are well informed as to any and all happenings in the room and many have put out the updates to inform their membership of that fact.

The Company (COMPANY) has not announced that they have made any last offers and if they do make a last offer I’m 100% positive that they will announce that fact on their Jetnet/Workbrain network.

When and or if the Company ever does make an actual last offer I will listen to the advice that my Representatives have on that offer. Whether that be to vote on that offer with or without an endorsement or that they will be asking the NMB to release us to engage in self help. (I already know your comments on self help so I don’t need to read them again)
