If they made id easy to vote by phone or on line you could kiss your association goodbye especially a year from now with no contract.Perhaps there would be a place for your handlers but at a greatly reduced salary

There is not going to be any contract vote with the Association cuz the offer isnt going to change.
There will be 2 votes in 2020.
1. The American Labor Movement Union or Association.
2. If ALM wins, then there will be a contract vote on the best offer after accelerated negotiations that will bring a leading industry offer to the members.
I anticipate voting in both votes.
Not sure what other vote you are talking about. Samuelson already said he is refusing to bring a vote on this crap offer.

30 day electronic voting. Independent institution handles it. Dues $15, Top officer salary is capped at 10% above top of scale. No other officer guaranteed constitutional benefits. No second pension.
1 convention every 4 years. 70% stays with Local. Most money goes towards negotiations and arbitration. Constitution provides guarantee to members of a legal professional at arbitrations, and the local prez can contract negotiations with a professional. Much much more.
If association stall drips into 2020 then im hopeful the American Labor Movement can come in quickly and clean up the few groups here.

Yea. I already got it. I think that will be a talking point next year if a raid does happen. Samuelson has been crystal clear NO VOTING.
I believe the employees wanna vote, accept or reject, and allowing them to vote will be the focus of the new union. The new union is democratic and believes in full disclosure and consent.
