“None of the unions representing our employees presently may lawfully engage in concerted slowdowns or refusals to work, such as strikes, sick-outs or other similar activity, against us. Nonetheless, there is a risk that disgruntled employees, either with or without union involvement, could engage in one or more concerted refusals to work that could individually or collectively harm the operation of our airline and impair our financial performance“

Let me see where do i start:
to beat a dead horse vote on the association
Lets see maybe a little engagement from our associate's in the association
GP appointed twice to the intl
GS voted in as vp, appointed oredident
PC voted to board appointed to vp
RD appointed to exex board, appointed again.
Maybe to be a little more forth coming on details...

Every large Union makes appointments. They wouldn’t be able to function otherwise.

And you guys were screaming at one point that you didn’t have an AMT in the International but now that you do have one that’s a problem?

I don’t know who all the other initials are but if you’re talking about the IEC those people who are appointed into that role are usually locally Elected Representatives and they’re not being paid by the International for their services nor do they receive any extra compensation at the Local level either.

I wouldn’t mind seeing more detailed updates either as far as they feel that wouldn’t be a distraction. They’re not going to put out details of TA’d items publicly but a little of that has legitimately leaked out.

I deleted everything in your posting that was total garbage and this is what you had left.

The Company (According to the Unions) has never offered a full comprehensive proposal on all remaining issues “In Writing”

If that’s a bald face lie the Company has the best tool out there to refute that lie but so far I haven’t see them do so.

I don’t buy chit BTW until I read the fine print.

BTW Gary told you what the Company wanted in regards to Line Maintenance which is the only thing I think you care about.

It’s your problem if you don’t want to believe one of your own fellow Mechanics or not.

Your opinion only on what is "total garbage".
No full text offer, how about this then, put all the TA'd articles down in writing. Then put down what the company offer is on the rest - alongside the Association counter offer. From there, then we can decide for ourselves. It may work out for the Association after the membership reads it.
We don't buy "chit" either, so let's see it. Transparency would be appreciated.
Gary did talk about some items but was vague at best.
Of course I care about Line MX as you would care about Fleet Service.
Look, we are done with this phony guilt trip narrative that has been used against us for years.
Not my problem, it's Gary's.

Are you the ambassador for 12,450 Mechanics? Why do many of you posters act like you are when you use the line “We are done”?

You mean “YOU” are done.

Can you show me ANY Union out there that does what you’re asking to the degree you want?

But I have said that I do agree that they can put out maybe a little bit more in depth on what comes out officially. But that’s just “MY” opinion. Me.

Of course I’m pretty much 100% positive you won’t believe it anyway. Am I wrong?

And again once more. You’re not a “We” you’re a “You” or when you type it out you’re an “I”. You only speak for a party of ONE. Even if you do “suppose” all others share your thoughts.

I’m absolutely 100% positive they don’t.

The Union Movement needs to go back to its roots and become powerful again, but membership apathy prevents this from happening.

Maybe if you unions started acting as unions and not social clubs that exist to benefit the leadership that would help. How do you expect UGE or McGee employees to engage the union when they don’t have a local lodge?

Just curious when and where was this posted?

What are you guys as mechanics willing to accept, and do you line guys now outnumber overhaul? I would ask what the offer is, and put it out for a vote. If it's voted down at least you have a starting point.Weazz says maintenance is holding up ramp. So if ramp is done let them vote.
