It looks to me like they are doing just that. Speaking on the TWU side what more do you need from them exactly? What do you feel is missing?

I saw this AMT posting on the AA site and on Indeed. Notice the city encircled . Maintenance hasn't been here in ages. Was there something reached on the AMT side to bring mechanics back to stations lost? A mechanic who used to work ramp with us already called and asked if he wanted to relocate to Houston. Funny thing is he's already here. If they are coming back here then ramp can't be far behind. No?

Companies are known to put out phony job postings to solicit resumes and pay lip service to non-discrimination and equal opportunity laws.

Being a third party aggregator site it’s even more likely they’re just fishing for resumes. It sucks wastes candidates time but that is the job market of 2019.

Indeed rarely posts phony material. At any rate my former coworker was just offered a position here so I'm curious as to when AA decided on opening a maintenance stations here after all the talk about minimizing work.

Zero. Fly said that his best guess was that it was just something to keep the TWU members busy. Also, checked with Fly and he said that the company has not notified the NMB that it wanted a PEB. Not sure what Baskett is smoking.
At any rate, Fly said that the offer is what it is. He remains hopeful that the Association will learn from the error of its ways and present a vote. But the offer would not change.

Idk how any one on this site claims they're union most that post here are IGM garbage. Basically youre all soft sell outs. Hopefully one day the Union men that talk as much as they do will man up with real action to protect work and pay. Until then just a bunch on 'cry babies' like your bosses say.

On transparency; at this point, we would like to see the company full text offer. The International lost our blind allegiance a long time ago. It's no secret that the Internationals priorities are not the quality of our contracts, rather the amount of dues coming in. That is another reason why these one size fits all unions with all these overpaid posers in the International can not be trusted. They are the masters of spin when attempting to convince the membership of what the fight is actually about. Unfortunately, those same skills are never applied when negotiating with the company, or the company just isn't having it. Hard to get behind this NC when nobody really knows what we are actually sacrificing for to the tune of $30K per year plus or minus.
You're angling for a position in the International by being their social media troll, I do see that.

Home runs? I have seen one at AA in 33 years. It lasted about a year, and then we got pounded.

Do you really think there are no written offers? The nmb would blow these talks off if everyone was just chatting. They would probably be mean like you and say get off the pot.
Well, im in pbi and i got my confirmation on the scope so i felt good enuf about going to pbi and chasing some skirts there.

Of course they don't think there's anything out there in writing. They are all left in the dark with no info about what is being passed, discussed or nego at the table. The membership has no clue what they are fighting for and it is sad. A well informed membership would support their NC 100% if they were given the right info...

ecause although the assoc is our certified bargaining agent, we are not members and we have zero rights.

The members are just plain dumb as a box of rocks. They are mindless. Anyone who hears or sees would know immediately that mediators just arent involved in chat sessions that dont discuss what was passed.
Whats funny, is if you read the assoc updates it says offers were passed back and forth. Then when one ask about the scope, they say that negotiations are simply verbal so its impossible for us to cite the language.

Lets see maybe a little engagement from our associate's in the association
GP appointed twice to the intl
GS voted in as vp, appointed oredident
PC voted to board appointed to vp
RD appointed to exex board,appointed again.
Maybe to be a little more forth coming on details...
