Best scope in the industry? 50% of overhaul, 2200 jobs, gone. Double the line outsourcing, roughly 900 jobs gone. Sorry, that does not sound like "best scope in the industry" to me.

You better get yourself educated.. does not sound like is not a fact..

I`m no expert but I have been paying attention to our industry. This scope proposal is industry standard at best. We have about 9700 folks on the combined "title 1 " list, TWU and IAM. This scope is proposing dropping that number to 6500 or so. No language on how they get down to that number or over what span of time. It simply does not comport with the company public statements on Jetnet of "no one will lose their job or relocate" vs what they are proposing in negotiations. Bottom line is I do not trust the company, TWU, IAM or Association.

GP is all about what is in it for him.
Alex Garcia nice guy twu lifer Fleet.
Mike Mays another twu lifer Fleet.
Sito does not have an issue with the scope company presented,
It is the best compared to all other Airlines.
Good luck trying to keep the scope we have today. I am a realist.
Wake up weasel....

You have a membership that will not fight. The ship sailed on unionism.
Today's union is WiiFM (what's in it for me)
My guess is.....You must not know Sito

Wonder what would happen if they put that crap scope out with a good compensation, buyout package, nice bonus it would be close

Are you kidding me bro. I think 6 years is ridiculous. I think we’ve even grown past the time that this has gotten ridiculous too at 3 years.

But I’m also not interested in relenting anymore.

You know we’re not even asking for the Company to give us back our Pension and Retiree Medical after they’ve spent 11 Billion Dollars on wasted share repurchases so far (2 Billion more authorized BTW)
You act like an idiot. It's not up to you. And that's the problem. It doesn't matter if you relent or not. The TWU already relented by taking the knee and going for the money only. The clock has expired, like it or not. So, it's not about relenting. The last offer is the last offer and will remain the last offer. The only question is when are we going to pick it up. We need to vote on it, accept or reject. What's the fuss?

And please stop comparing this to AMFA. These are JCBA talks which normally don't last 2 years, but ours is lasting because our idiot union went for the cash only and blew its aces and took the knee to run out the clock. Your dopey secondhand website, sponsored and paid for by TWU Locals is a colossal waste of money. Even the dopey IAM knows that and refused to give you guys a dime again. Wow, this is like the 6th time the TWU did something without the IAM. That tells all of us that your TWU is stroking you all. Alex cooks dinner for Sito.

So tell me how do we get the company to move off their position??

I've asked this a few times and I get nothing bur CBS and Polititians letters. Is there anything else??
When a football game is over, there is a winner and a loser. Nobody stays out on the field and goes through motions after the clock reads zero. But that is what weez and the new dopey website is calling for. It's an effort to create a fake narrative. It even says that "It's more than just about the money, it's about scope". The problem is that the union went for the money only and got the money and cashed in our aces that separated equipment and made the merger a pain in the ass for the company. Cross utilization was a win for the company, a monster win for TWU union dues, and a loss for the members. Our workforce is stupid. They don't even realize that the union stole their socks without taking off their shoes. The only thing left to do is vote now, or wait 5+ years, blame the mediators, and vote on the same thing, or worse. There will never be a colling off or PEB. Never. It's game over because stalling isn't going to put more pressure on the company.

The line sold by the Company in their video was

“If you have a job today, you’ll have a job tomorrow”

Even with a buyout and other natural attrition that’s a lot of numbers to try and get down to.

Maybe he thinks Sito was okay with the old UAL scope and contract that was so bad UALS CEO offered to improve mid contract
Sito destroyed over 400,000 airline jobs. He picked up where Lorenzo left off at. He is slowly replacing all of the scorched family rearing union jobs with scab union jobs. He is still getting dues but from scabs like UGE and McGee. And he gets all of their dues since they are not in locals but all their dues goes to the grand lodge.

You are destroying jobs with your anti union, frank Lorenzo attitude. You need to think about going into management again.

GP was a AmFA pusher when that did not work for him he tried twu that didn't work for him so he tried three times to hire as a manager at AA didn't work out for him either.
I have no confidence in him at all. Facts speak.
AA presented the best scope in the industry.
Yes it outsources facilities maintenance. I understand that but how are you going to fight that, with a mediator that is being told best in the industry and no one on payroll with loose job.
Talk is big but decisions need to be made that are not popular and do not grow TWU or IAM...
What am I fighting for...I would like to know.
^^^WINNER^^^^

who fights or goes through the motions after the game is over and the clock reads zero. The Union and Management cut the deal for the money/cross utilization and then took a knee. We lost. It's time to head to the Lockeroom instead of listening to these fat arse union bosses telling us to drop down and give them 20 pushups.

So we are banking on CBS and letters from politicians, if that's the case then i'm sure we will have a contract in no time.

You have every right to accept that it takes 6 years to get a contract, I think it's unacceptable, it makes absolutly no sense to wait to vote on a proposal that will be the same in 6 years. It actually makes no difference if you are rich or poor, I have one vote and you have one vote and when you tally the votes the majority rules.

I am not here advocating to anyone which way they should vote, the reasons i would vote a certain way are personal, just like they are for you. What I am saying is its up to the membership as a whole to decide.
Never bank on the media Mike

Tim,

Not that is rich coming from you. You constantly try and create a "fake narrative" to suit your agenda.

The company never offered to take out abr or the bagroom out of scope. So when the union comes back with a ta it can say that it fought and secured those jobs, so peeps wont be as upset about the insurance. Ive seen the actual offer and we wont even be losing scope for small stations. That made it easy to transfer to pbi.
I ended up having a good dude from rdu transfer to ord and i work with a guy in pbi from rdu.
