GP was a AmFA pusher when that did not work for him he tried twu that didn't work for him so he tried three times to hire as a manager at AA didn't work out for him either.

AA presented the best scope in the industry.
Yes it outsources facilities maintenance. I understand that but how are you going to fight that, with a mediator that is being told best in the industry and no one on payroll with loose job.
Talk is big but decisions need to be made that are not popular and do not grow TWU or IAM...

You have every right to accept that it takes 6 years to get a contract, I think it's unacceptable, it makes absolutly no sense to wait to vote on a proposal that will be the same in 6 years. It actually makes no difference if you are rich or poor, I have one vote and you have one vote and when you tally the votes the majority rules.

I am not here advocating to anyone which way they should vote, the reasons i would vote a certain way are personal, just like they are for you. What I am saying is its up to the membership as a whole to decide.
Well Petersons Isom coup story got us a quick section six Company didnt even inform the union now this.Company will probably take a few things off the table for this brilliant idea.You want a deal seems to me a lot looking for a buyout maybe they take that off.The union needs a contract a lot more than the company its important to remember that real important

Best scope in the industry? 50% of overhaul, 2200 jobs, gone. Double the line outsourcing, roughly 900 jobs gone. Sorry, that does not sound like "best scope in the industry" to me.
 
Are you kidding me bro. I think 6 years is ridiculous. I think we’ve even grown past the time that this has gotten ridiculous too at 3 years.

But I’m also not interested in relenting anymore.

You know we’re not even asking for the Company to give us back our Pension and Retiree Medical after they’ve spent 11 Billion Dollars on wasted share repurchases so far (2 Billion more authorized BTW)
IMO we are not getting any of that stuff back and I don't think the company's offer is going to change, so why punish ourselves, we are losing out on pay and vacation and sick time and holidays and more 401k. I go back to my original question what do we have to make the company change their position??? Do you honestly believe that by just sitting and waiting the company is just going to have a change of heart and decide to give us what we want??

I've asked this a few times and I get nothing bur CBS and Polititians letters. Is there anything else??

I know he was a big time AMFA pusher. I’ve also noticed that it appears as if the TWU has made peace with AMFA. If you’ve read here enough years I’ve made this comment many times and I live by it, “Unions should not fight Unions”

As far as any Management ambitions he had in the past, that’s his business.

All I care about is what he’s doing for us all in his current job today.

AA certainly says that it’s offered the best Scope in the industry and maybe they have? All I want is to read that fine print from them that proves it’s true. Pretty much outsourcing all of Facilities Maintenance and all the other things doesn’t sound like it to me personally.

What are you fighting for? You are fighting for the future today just like someone in the past fought for you to be here and make the same choice they did.

Now honor the past that gave you your opportunity. You and I owe them something don’t you think?

Our union has been lying to us since the ASSociation was created....
If we had any leaders with a brain this would have been done.

For me it doesn't matter anymore what I want, it's a matter of what I think we can get.I believe we have hit that wall in negotiations and it's time to vote. It's like buying a house or a car once you get the owner to there lowest price, that's it you either take it or find another car.

Oh and again it probably in Maintenance is better than the others. Some of the Scope for AMT’s out there is pretty damn chitty I think you would agree.
