This is a great update, after 4 years we finally have FSC crew chief duties agreed upon.

I’m guessing both sides are pretty dug in on their positions, when there is an impass what’s the next step?

3 years 2 months. Watching other groups in the industry go between 5 to almost 7 years with this BS, the Company’s know they have all the time in the World.

It wasnt you but someone did make those claims that what went on at other airlines didnt matter to us or at least in so many words. For some reason tim groups you with those guys but you do have your own opinions and usually dont go a long,kind of like on the outside looking in

Put it to you this way. No member of Management ever should have been able to take over from a CC (Or Lead) and direct the workforce. Also a CC should “assist” his or her crew but not be considered a replacement for a crew member.

The language did/does need to be clearer on what the duties of a CC are though in assisting.

clearer? in laa land, just about everyone knows/believes that a supervisor & above, can't direct the workforce nor tell a C/C to do the function of a FSC. unless we are all wrong, this isn't in writing??...because if it isn't, the company hasn't pulled a lever it could have pulled millions of times?

if it was clear, up until recent times - amendable twu contract in 2018, then the company did purposely muddy the scope/C/C duties waters with this?

i can only remember 2 times that mngt. gave a directive to a C/C...one time, the C/C ignored it from the manager on duty, the other time, the C/C obeyed it from his supervisor. each got fired from these separate incidents, but they did get their jobs back.

Considering they are being updated constantly by the EC, how can our update from the 513 local make inaccurate statements like that? Fa has painted a pretty gloomy picture the last few updates. You now have to wonder if he understands what he is being told.

i don't know the guy, so i can't say. i will say the official assoc. update was kinda choppy/vague.

i see that dfw/ord/mia all voted out incumbents the last election cycle? lots of angry FSCs.

weez, mr baskett, and piedmont have consistently held that other airlines dont affect us. However I Bitchslapped weez on jetnet as he absolutely shouted "mommy please give me delta profit sharing!".
His tantrum was sorta unsightly but typical of a turncoat judas against his own union.
I like weez but not until we get these anti unionist and freeloaders like weez to stop supporting the company, their handlers will have the stall card.
