American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

DL had 13, and NW brought 40 to the party (we overlapped in all but 3 stations: SLC, CVG, and SJU).

But we’re talking about US, and this page.

I can think of at least 3 users that were displaced? IAM sure there are more.

No I don’t cherry pick. We’re going to talk about the entire industry to understand the pieces of the puzzle and how they all fit together to see the full picture.

So Delta was down to only 13 staffed cities by the year 2008.

So the organized and IAM represented Airline had 40 cities in their contract and the non represented held only 13.

Sounds like a “value proposition” to me?

THEMSELVES!
Hey if it kills a couple of hours at work so be it im not going to live or die with it same as negotiations and a new contract not going to be life changing ill fond something else to get the weezs goat like dues objection

Ah, look at you trying to control the narrative. That’s cute. Try and keep that in mind next time you’re tempted to scream “auslander!” at me.

Compared to my DL counterparts at merger time, we were faring better, IMO. They had more in base pay, and our CBA tilted more toward benefits. That pendulum was come more towards the middle over the last decade (good vacay, holidays, and base rates. 2 new points. So-so medical, etc.).

US on the other hand, saw nothing but station losses over the last several years (same with UA, and you at LAA). They gained some back with HP, only to lose numbers again. The only current lifeline is the 7/week LOA. Hold on to that (and LUS medical), and your group will set the bar for likely the balance of our careers. THAT will be the epitome of a value proposition.

He probably doesn’t actually care, but the people blowing up his phone with texts sure do, and that’s who he wants to curry favor with.

More lies. US lost cargo in 1992, along with mail and express.

You all voted in the IAM in 1995.

Stop with the misinformation
I voted for the IAM cause i figured if they tried to outsource us we'd have the AMTs backing.otherwise all unions are the same rum like a business with dues being their revenue

Could you please tell me what LUS stations have closed in several years?

Can’t seem to remember any since the last Bankruptcy

You’re an insulting little B aren’t you?

So when are you planning on getting your head out of TN’s rectum?

Kev doesn’t acknowledge that that word is an existing word in any American Dictionary.

Maybe he should concentrate on gettin his OWN property organized instead of spending his time here?

The 7 flight per week (temporary) Agreement will not survive any JCBA language. That was clearly written as nothing more than a place holder until a full agreement was reached.

The Company already offered to hold the 40 and the talks continue on to add more.

And maybe the IAM is looking to set the bar to gain your group (I hope not) into the Union fold but I really mean it now that I don’t think there’s anything, anyone can do to make that happen.

As far as Medical didn’t the butt hole you have your head stuck up already say that’s a done deal?

Nah.

No easy feat when IAM repped stations keep closing, the pension plan makes unilateral benefit changes, and AGCs vote themselves massive raises.
Once again show me what LUS stations have closed since the 2005 Bankruptcy.

Don’t be like Tim, when was the last IAMNPF cut?

The cut only effected Fleet as maintenance was/is on Schedule B.

Do we need Paul Harvey here?

You really are becoming like Nelson and Dunn.

I guess you don’t care about credibility either, the MEMBERS voted on the bylaws, every 141 member had the opportunity to vote.

What’s with the lies and misinformation?
