Fa's wording is pretty severe. Complete concessions is not what people want to hear. I guess you have to expect the company acting this way when they got much of what they needed earlier when we got our raise. This looks like it may take quite some time. Not happy with this mgmt team who blow smoke up your ass and also come up with odd ideas that make your job harder. They come out at earnings and say how they're going to make a ton more money and then ask for complete concessions?

Fa information was second hand plus he probably added some spice as well. I don't blame him. But you are correct, when the TWU went for the dues grab, it handed over to the company it's Holy Grail. When the ground crews and flight crews could all work on the same equipment, the merger became 'seamless' for all practical synergy purposes.

That extra money it now says its going to make next year, is from the TWU members that it can keep in cuffs under a contract that is far worse than non union delta. No sick days. No holiday pay. No double time. Nothing. Nonetheless, the offer remains on the table and I'm hopeful that Lil Tommy and Sito allow everyone to vote on the offer. Otherwise, nothing will be improved and we will just be put on ice for 2 or 4 or 7 years until they finally want to sign the exact same TA on the table now, or less.

Mr Brown was chased off of here when he didn't "Man Up" about all of his lies regarding him squeezing the members for $30,000. Then, he posted when he was sloppy drunk on January 31st to engage me but it just wasn't a fair battle so I just let him blab his mouth. Actually, when he is stone cold drunk he is better to talk to and he didn't lie as much. That said, his updates never change, they are pretty much "Hi guys, the company is bad, I'm busting my butt". Thankfully, he at least stopped lying and telling people that he himself was in negotiations. I couldn't defend myself in CLT when he was telling people that I was lying but with the TWU Local Presidents calling BS and properly informing their members, it rooted our Mr Brown's lies and vindicated me, the truth teller.

His reports are all second hand. My reports I think are much more credible, or at least the source is. BTW, Mr Brown and Mr Peterson both got deflated when they put out videos allegedly calling for a slowdown but nobody listened. ORD runs smooth and I have run into very few who support the Association.

Yes, it is expanding scope. The company could just keep it like it is. That said, even after catering and lavs RIP because of Lil Tommy, the net gain of jobs is estimated at 2,000+ for fleet. That's a direct result of expanding scope.

The mediator set Peterson straight on that. Nobody wanted to waste their time so Peterson was advised of no more tin cap videos. Not sure if he was getting drunk or what but he was really getting out of line in his typical bi polar way. At least he took his one video offline, where the mirror behind him showed him in his undies.
No more tirades and Barbie tantrums from him, and no more "Guarantee TA by Christmas" again. Even Weez fell for that one.

What exactly does the TWU and IAM negotiators do besides eat at restaurants every night.What exactly do they do during negotiations? I know the IAM guys probably plan how they are going to spend the extra 30k they gave themselves
