And I'm also convinced that there will be a JCBA for fleet fairly soon, from what I was told. The whole thing has been wrapped up anyways for over a year but the mediator 'very insistently' made the association knock off it's BS about shelving Fleet until MX signs. Fleet is basically done and has been. It's moving quickly because the mediator saw that the damn thing was pretty much done anyways. MX will be solo as it is a gulf apart on scope issues.
Why is everyone saying we will be getting a contract sooner than later? What are the indications? Tim chased CB and rez off of here so now we dont have their input

CB gives weekly updates. Check with him. Of course you will only get his opinion and what the Executive Committee gives him.

A few TWU Local Presidents put out a letter saying that the company wanted to take all of our fleet work and replace it with "When and Where" directed.

That is false. I repeat, that is false. The company NEVER proposed to take any current work other than making catering and lavs 'when and where directed', while expanding scope in other areas.
Catering and Lavs was offered along with all current scope prior to section 6 but the union passed on it. While c...atering and lavs being removed is a strange and terrible thing, the offer won't be improved upon now since the union took the dues grab. All other work in fleet was retained, and all employees will not be displaced to part time or elsewhere as part of the protection offered in the proposal.

The TWU Presidents are being lied to by the Executive Board which is made of of a United Airline Board of Director, and Delta Airline employees. They tell the Local Presidents what they want to blow up their asses.

This is why I mentioned last week that all of the TWU Local Presidents need to grow a set of BALLS and stick together and have at least 2 of them be ALLOWED in negotiations or they should tell the Delta dudes that they are going to stay home next time.
Unfortunately, the TWU Local Presidents didn't listen and they are still in the fetus position scratching their balls the next building over.

BTW you keep mentioning Catering and Lavs but leaving out that Management wants Deicing work in some cities. Rather offensive of you to continue to ignore the TWU existence.

On another note. Quite ironic how you’ve said in the past that the TWU Scope sucks and yet here we are fighting to keep YOUR Scope out of our houses.

Oh and Management wants the ability to direct our Workforce which AIN’T going to play in TWU land. They also want our CC’s to work like your Leads. Not interested in that one either.

You IAM guys do a lot more with a lot less. Even Al says that here all the time.

Oh and uh I forgot. I thought you “claimed” that Fleet was done? Guess not huh.

It is but the narrative isn't consistent. The only ones ignoring the TWU existence is the executive team which refuses to allow one single TWU Prez in the room. Why? Sorry, but having 2 more people in the room isn't cramping anything other than if some bullchiat is going down.
And no, you are incorrect, the company offered more scope by expanding TWU stations. Remember, many LUS stations do not have TWU members. Scope is going to expand for both unions even with the strange and terrible Catering hatchet job. I don't want catering and lavs to go either but your boys walked away from a "Take it or Leave it" deal that was quite amazing and included catering and lavs. Reagan Blew it to keep us hostage to MX.

Expansion would be opening another 13 cities to go up to 53.

Expanding Scope would be not attempting to take work we perform currently but to add work that neither side currently performs. IE: Cabin Service, Mail, Freight, Fueling, Etc.

There are no Association members, stop lying.
Yes, it is expanding scope. The company could just keep it like it is. That said, even after catering and lavs RIP because of Lil Tommy, the net gain of jobs is estimated at 2,000+ for fleet. That's a direct result of expanding scope.

Mr Brown was chased off of here when he didn't "Man Up" about all of his lies regarding him squeezing the members for $30,000. Then, he posted when he was sloppy drunk on January 31st to engage me but it just wasn't a fair battle so I just let him blab his mouth. Actually, when he is stone cold drunk he is better to talk to and he didn't lie as much. That said, his updates never change, they are pretty much "Hi guys, the company is bad, I'm busting my butt". Thankfully, he at least stopped lying and telling people that he himself was in negotiations. I couldn't defend myself in CLT when he was telling people that I was lying but with the TWU Local Presidents calling BS and properly informing their members, it rooted our Mr Brown's lies and vindicated me, the truth teller.

His reports are all second hand. My reports I think are much more credible, or at least the source is. BTW, Mr Brown and Mr Peterson both got deflated when they put out videos allegedly calling for a slowdown but nobody listened. ORD runs smooth and I have run into very few who support the Association.
 
Fa's wording is pretty severe. Complete concessions is not what people want to hear. I guess you have to expect the company acting this way when they got much of what they needed earlier when we got our raise. This looks like it may take quite some time. Not happy with this mgmt team who blow smoke up your ass and also come up with odd ideas that make your job harder. They come out at earnings and say how they're going to make a ton more money and then ask for complete concessions?
