Welcome back.
I was working in Tampa Air Cargo at the time of the merger 8/5/89.
I think i still have the quarter but i thought it was the company saying give us a chance if youreYou are not being honest.
I was working in Tampa Air Cargo at the time of the merger 8/5/89. I was Piedmont and on two gates next to us was USAir ramp and the were non-union. Only places US ramp was IBT was BOS, BUF, PHL and PIT.
Stop being dishonest.
After the merger there was a systemwide vote and the IBT lost.
They even gave us a letter with a quarter attached to call Uncle Ed (Colodny, US CEO) if we had any questions before the vote.
Rogallo all of this is verifiable.
Tim has zero credibility and is being dishonest.
We at the non-union stations even made more per hour than the four ibt represented stations. At the time of the vote I lived and worked in Tampa.

He isn’t credible and has admitted on these forms as such.
Where is the offer he said “fly” gave to him last year that he stated numerous times “two weeks”?
Ask CLTRAT or Piedmont about his lack of credibility and truthfulness.
700, you were the one being dishonest. The Teamsters had a contract in 4 stations. They had the certification and I was on that negotiation team as a Business Agent after the PSA vote. I saw one last final offer and the proposal was for the IBT to keep 7 stations (expand the 4 and get SAN, LAX, and one other). Actually, me, Rodney Watson and Dave Lehive were all part of that negotiation team. The wings in buffalo were great from the airport inn.You are not being honest.

And, the IBT had triple time overtime pay. And so many other things that the non contract didn't have. But I guess nobody can stop you and Weez from pointing to the non union workers and saying that they are making more. Weez even went on Jetnet and was begging for the non union pay and profit sharing. Pointing out how the non union peep at Delta are nabbing over $10,000.
As it turns out, it's a strange and terrible thing that non union have advanced further.
Ok then obviously I’m prying here but something prompted you to stick with AA then even though the Airline was in Bankruptcy and none of us were yet sure exactly where that was headed?
You must have even went as far as getting past the interview process if you say you had a job offer, and yet my friend Vort here with us you continue on.
I know people with Empire time that have Creme beat.Dont understand he seems somewhat intelligent he just refuses to get this one .Both groups benefited from.the merger yes LUS somewhat more than AA but seniority has nothing to do with it.Again who knows the future if both carriers remained independent but now hes beating a dead horse
Id rather be 18 with day one seniority than 60 in may with 41 years but thats meempire air? haha, more lottery winners. you can't make this stuff up. all the laa guys are holding loser lottery tickets.
you just said lus has benefited 'somewhat more'. seniority is everything, you got 40+ years with lus and you still don't know that?
ask the aa AMTs with half the holidays and their sick time who has benefited. there might be empire people with more time, but i'd rather have my time and my age.
ord seniority will be an absolute landslide...most lus guys will never see the sun again. belly, every flight, every day. they can think about their rich history of piedmont and empire and psa and allegheny. you'll need tim with his piedmont time to stay and claim some glory for lus.
Would disagree 100% Al. Have had a great life and not really sure there is much I would change. Great wife and successful kids who are productive and a plus to society. I look forward to the short future I still have left ahead of me.Id rather be 18 with day one seniority than 60 in may with 41 years but thats me
Texas will be annexed by mexico probablyWould disagree 100% Al. Have had a great life and not really sure there is much I would change. Great wife and successful kids who are productive and a plus to society. I look forward to the short future I still have left ahead of me.
Lord knows what this country/world will look like in another 50-60 years.

Yes I saw that mess. I told them to vote no even though I organized them above the wing at IAH . Waiting for the subpar TWU guys working our deal to come with better. Most of us will be with United before then. We are supposedly going to 11 gates in our terminal. It's gonna take a minute. Doug Parker is a bufoon.7 different Geographical Pay scales not counting the CARS Position.

So amfa didn’t settle for a low ball offer . Lets see here when aa and us air mechanics were making 35 a hour I believe swa mechanics were at 43 . And they have more holidays profit sharing double and triple time. Where the twu gave away our holidays our double and a half on holidays . They even gave away our double time. And because of the mediator amfa let there members vote on the last swa offer . It was rejected by a big measure. So you see when got the raise we barely went over what swa are making. We were just caught up to what we should of been making. Don’t let the facts get in your way . Delta mechanics are better off then us with a union. They make more bigger profit sharing more benefits again don’t let the facts get in the way. Yes people are upset about the delay but most people are upset at the updates we are getting from the association .Seven years. AMFA is going for the Guinness book of World Records for Section 6 negotiations
We been in a bk contract sense 2003 so what’s your point .No raises in seven years.
