I have too much seniority to stay in ORD when I can walk around in MIA looking at all of the nice babes in the hallways while I sip on my dunkin donuts coffee I just purchased on D42. That may be why Weez works around those gates.

Not really worried about a place since I've done pretty well financially. I'm guessing I'd have to move quickly and find a place, so I may get stuck in a hotel for a few months before I find a place.

Well from that update you just posted it doesn’t look to me like you’re going to be sipping on Ice cold Dunkin coffee above my Sat Sun off D42 Gate maybe chatting with NYer on D44 anytime soon.

TPA is wonderful though Tim. When I was a kid I went to St Pete to party. Don’t know if it’s still in business but there’s a Restaurant made to look like a Pirates ship that gave a pretty good meal you should try to find.

Good fishing over there too.

I'm not worried about a transfer out of ORD, I have too much seniority and I'll nab a florida station. From what I understand, there will be plenty of movement but after a JCBA some movement may be restricted. Also, may have to get into a FLL now prior to them making that a "MIA/FLL" point that could hogtie those of us on the outside after a JCBA. Right now, all stations are independent and not a group that is called a 'point'.

If I have to, I'll go anywhere other than JAX in Florida. Not picky. If I went to TPA, it's beautiful and I would live in Gulf Air and then go to Dunnedin to my fav hangouts there. But I'm done with the cold. My lease to my pad is up in April so Im ready to go now.

And I'm also convinced that there will be a JCBA for fleet fairly soon, from what I was told. The whole thing has been wrapped up anyways for over a year but the mediator 'very insistently' made the association knock off it's BS about shelving Fleet until MX signs. Fleet is basically done and has been. It's moving quickly because the mediator saw that the damn thing was pretty much done anyways. MX will be solo as it is a gulf apart on scope issues.

They got flys in Texas i take it

Big ones!
A T/A coming soon means nothing. Pretty sure the union should be calling it an AIP until the EC, NC and maybe the International sign off on it being a T/A.
As in our case, AIP came from the table, someone changed it to a T/A (not sure if it was the NC or National) Then after digging into it deeper and deeper with our economist experts nobody from the NC or the National and even our locals would NOT endorse it. I hope you guys do get something soon to vote on, just wondering what all the body language will entail that this EC agreed to with the company in these secret nego's. I also hope you guys get a contract before we do, 15 years plus is long enough for you guys to wait...

that's tough. with the shale oil revolution, i'd rather be 18 and brand new - with delta. delta, along with some other airlines, have decided to share oil windfalls with their employees and shareholders. not aa. no sharing with employees.

too bad the shale people didn't make their tech breakthroughs decades ago. you never would have lost your pension.

a few years ago, i saw an amoco tv commercial from 1979-1980 and amoco told us the future was inside the rock the presenter was holding. no one paid attention.

I wouldn’t change a thing. Someday we’ll all realize that these are our “good old days.”

As for this weather, I think I’m gonna stay in the upper Midwest awhile longer. I like the cats I work with, and my kids are thriving.

Tim the Mediators don’t speak the way you try to portray. No one very insistently tells anyone else to knock off anything.

And Fleet is not finished if you actually read the update. If the Mediator told anyone to knock it off do you think they would accept the Association putting out lies?

But the fact that they’re talking wages and agrees to the length of the agreement does portend that it could be very close?

I’d be surprised and somewhat disappointed though if we (Fleet) abandoned our MX Brothers and Sisters if they do still have Scope issues that are far apart.

So are you going to post it in two weeks?

You’ve only been saying this for six months

We been in a bk contract sense 2003 so what’s your point .
Actually he wrong again. It's been 6 years 4 months. We won't hit 7 years until Aug. 2019.
I saw where AANOTOK posted hearing of a T/A coming soon and I hope he is correct that you guys will have something to vote on soon. Good luck and by all means share with us the details please...

If you believe anything he says about negotiations I have oceanfront property for you to purchase in AZ.

You are so gullible.

How can you even fathom that?
According to the update YOU posted it states that "We closed the week without significant progress on resolving the Fleet Scope issues."
What part of tells you that you will have a T/A soon??
It actually tells me you guys are miles apart from a T/A...

Tim is a baggage handler in ORD, he is a non-member, and you believe everything he says.

Actually no I did not believe him, matter fact I posted the opposite of what he said, that they were lacking significant progress.
And still the same ole lame updates with NO details...

I hear a TA is coming out fairly soon...told sooner rather than later. Pack those bags, Tim.
If the Association update is any indication, the info that was given to me may be a little off. Although some movement and a T/A, fairly soon sounds a bit optimistic. Maybe my fairly soon and there's has a different meaning...We will see.

Listen, what they put out is the same updates over the past several years. Fleet has been done for over a year, other than a few tedious things. The mediators saw this as an opportunity and from what I believe, fleet will be much farther along than MX enough to sign a TA soon. MX is very far apart and it is likely to drag on for several years unless the association agrees to extensive contracting out, but still much more scope than at United MX.

But, there now seems to be movement over the past month for fleet. That's why mediators suggested they focus on fleet things to wrap it up. There is a reason why I'm putting in my transfer. I tell people but they don't listen, they just continue to believe the same dopey updates.

Previously, lil Tommy and Sito was stalling fleet and keeping it hostage to MX.
MX is very far away from a deal. Very far. Not on the same planet. Fleet should wiggle out a TA soon. My transfer is going in on Monday. I'm leaving ORD due to what I understand. You all can keep hissing and fretting over the semantics of the same ole update time after time, but things are moving quick.
