And you are NOT a part of your collective bargaining agent no matter how much you want to thrwo your twu under the bus for an iam job. Ive heard employees like you before. Blowhard that has never organized one soul into this miserable union.

Tell me Mr Walegir, would you have been as short sighted as your future IAM boss Mr Baskett when he voted to approve the united contract and did so because he said united wasnt any of our business?

Hey wait a minute here. Tim is this guy Walegir going after my head Organizer gig out of FLL? You know they only just added me to the Grand Lodge Pension and gave me the key to the washroom. I don’t want to lose those things.

the bankrutcy judge might have been a stickler if the twu members didnt approve it but i dont remember any judge abrogating your contract? Certainly, the judge wasnt nvolved in ours which our bosses agreed to and we voted upon.

Ok you have a point here. But it was our Negotiators (NYer included) who decided to give up more of our work over giving up more of our wages.

No I didn’t like the decision myself but unfortunately I found out first hand that the Members would not have passed the deal had they saw any dramatic pay cuts instead.

And the Judge did abrogate the Pilots contract and that situation got pretty heated for a little bit.

whatever happened to that deal parker gave you guys to keep ind, bna, etc?
 
i believe that ua and that's iam, still use rotating days off in ord.

i would be interested in 4 day/10hr FT shifts.

I did 4/10hr in PHX maybe 18 years ago. Loved it. Wish we could get it again. I believe AC Mntc TWU still has it in some places

4/10's is where it's at! Wish we could get 'em here at my station, too.

That deal came with a caveat that was never going to be triggered. Basically if Parker had to initiate a hostile takeover and the TWU supported that we would keep those cities if they weren’t already closed.

But those Stations were closed under the AMR Bankruptcy prior to the US Merger.
 
I understand the issues/concerns with it.
But the TWU doesn’t have it NOW as system wide.
We LUS lost a lot of people in the bankruptcies. Thinlking the company was going out of business people left so while you have a lot of senior guys you have a lot of junior too.LAA was never that dire where it would have been liquidated so here you have a bunch of guys with 25 years rotating what they don't understand is if we went to non rotating they would be senior enough to have weekends.Old dog new tricks I guess thickheadef more appropriate

these guys in the video are the same ones who recommended that miserable united fleet contract. They say one thing then do another. Mr Baskett being a classic example. Him and me know he is a fraud but others arent aware that he is the one who put us in this situation unless he somehow got Doug Parker to not pay attention to United.

the company has explained it. The union knows its lying over the scope.
The only thing thats not in the company explanation sheets is catering which it has protected as well.
Sito is protecting United.

I’d like to see that too. But what I’d also like to see is the fine print? The parts of the deal where it basically says you have to do this to get that.

They just had a march on HQ yesterday by the FA’s because the Company is not implementing the parts of a deal that they made years ago. Crew scheduling.

Al I accept that you don’t trust the Unions but do you trust the Company? If the Association is lying why isn’t the Company again coming out to clarify their position and offers?

Why aren’t they verifying that what Tim is saying is true?

BTW I believe if they file Section 6 they won’t be able to do their Jetnet/Workbrain direct Negotiations any more. There are strict guidelines they’re supposed to follow under NMB rules.

I thought they were protesting the sick policy that we already have..im assuming the company isn't coming out with a new offer because the union wasn't to happy with it the other times.or it could be a holiday weekend and the person with the camera is on vacation or the camera could be charging ha ha

the reality is that the onus is upon the union as they have lied about the company proposal but refuse to show because it doesnt exist and hasnt existed for 12 months other than Sito himself flipping. Thats why the company walked out a few months ago because sito flipped on something he agreed to. What? I dont know.
For a moment, lets say the union was telling the truth. It wouldnt have to scream in videos to work safe, all it would have to do to get 100% support and angry employees is to show us the document where it stipulates all this lost work. It cant because it simply doesnt exist.

Tim will we have the same negotiators in section 6?If so it will kinda look like Groundhog day to me
