And,,, the caveat to that is, I expect the contract we accept then will be the same as the one on the table today, only slightly worse.

PI Tim was a thorn in the IAM side for years then they turn around and hire him as a recruiter basically keeping your enemies closer.Yet you say they ignore him.I don't think soAgreed, his charismatic allure has even placed proverbial "nose rings" attached to his little finger, into individuals that don't even work for the company, aren't unionized, or even have an interest in our affairs, other than to interfere. The attraction is so strong, these same individuals have been lead around this very forum by the nose every day for years, ready to pounce in his defense on a moments notice....
More than likely, they will simply ignore him as they have been doing. They will confidently sit on the sidelines and watch him continue to make a fool of himself with lost elections, DOL appeals, complaints, and bizarre self proclamations of power in this forum. It's like watching a low budget reality show...

I dont feel that way at all.
I'm blessed and fortunate..and happy.. In a good position looking retirement in the face in the next 5 years..Thankful to wake up each day...
Just expressing my techniques for a avoiding disappointment. I see on here what I think are many with great ecpectations.
Now, see you later, good luck and try to have a day that makes others feel good..
I have been through many contract votes. Most with my station potentially being on the chopping block while others, like yourself, make out like bandits. Subjected to the "I got mine" mentality. Do you think it would be in the best interest of the membership to deny the opportunity to vote on a last proposal prior to Section 6 negotiations? Likewise, do you think it would be in the best interest of the Association going forward?Would you be ok having this vote if the Company had not provided that the 40 Stations currently held by the Association would be secure?
Basically would you support taking the risk of a vote if your Station were on the chopping block?
I’ve never said myself that we shouldn’t have a vote either BTW. But I absolutely would prefer that vote to be one that my Negotiators on BOTH sides could support.
Reality for where I work is simple. The offer as I read it on the surface would have me making out like a bandit. We have no Deicing or Catering here in MIA and Lavs is only 20 FT Heads so I’m not worried about lost work. And if the Company provides that people can stay in their Stations we don’t even have to worry about being overstaffed here so OT will still be up the yin yang.
Economically I’ll be more than fine with the deal. Hell I’ll probably even work one weekend of OT per Month since that would be an extra $12,000 per year on top of my BASE.
Ok ograc let’s vote. I could give a rats ass about Deicing in DFW or all that IAM Catering work anyway. Or your Medical or IAMPF either.
I GOT MINE BABY!!!!!!!

You are right, they hired him, and consequently FIRED him under circumstances that have never been made public. Further, he is not a thorn in the IAM's side, he a thorn in the memberships side. He is a bitter company shill that hates unions...PI Tim was a thorn in the IAM side for years then they turn around and hire him as a recruiter basically keeping your enemies closer.Yet you say they ignore him.I don't think so
Weez when STL gets contracted out will the LLCers come to MIA?
Based on the TWU CBA language in about six weeks the company will be able to contract it out.
Isn’t 4/10/01 good seniority in MIA, relatively speaking?
Josh
Josh did you read that Tim’s appeal to the DOL that there were violations on his attempt to have the National election rerun were denied and they certified the original election win of Martinez and Sito?
Tim has said that’s it for him and he’s done. Sad.
No clue about that.
That said, I generally don’t have much confidence in the ability of government bureaucrat paper pushers to effectively fulfill their mandate particularly under Trump and his appointees who preside over these agencies as if they are their hobbies and they aren’t properly staffed and funded.
Not sure how that relates to the real possibility of four TWU stations getting canned after the TWU CBA becomes amendable.
