Not a fart in the wind to them. At any rate, the IAMNPF may have to cut all unreduced pensions very soon. In other words, all of the early retirements without any reductions may be gone. When a boat is sinking fast, gotta start throwing things over. We will all have to work till 65 to get our full pension if this happens. Right now, I can retire immediately unreduced.

You do recognize that since you were added to the team that you ARE now the Association yourself.

And I agree wholeheartedly that if the Company does present a last offer prior to Section 6 that all of the TWU President’s and IAM AGC’s should be given a vote to release or not release those offers out to the General Membership.

(And all need to accept the outcome of that vote as well)

He is not a member of the Association or any part of it. Period. He is no greater a part than you or the TWU membership. He does have a vote if there is a TA, from being on the negotiation team. He isn't paying dues to the Association. Sorry.

Think it's different this time,the association doesnt deserve our dues we might be in this stalemate for 7 or 8 years who knows.I don't understand why one TWU Mech would not sign a card what do they have to lose

This card drive, which will commence in the next 60 days according to "Ant", will be a quickie. They already have what it takes and if they wanted to they can raise $100,000. The Ass is aware of this and imo that is why they are going to splinter fleet from mx and bring a fleet offer. That's just my opinion.

As far as the new union, the TWU MX are more organized now than ever. No divisions. No IBT, No AMFA. No IAM. No TWU. Just one cloth. The IAM MX already had forced a raid on the IAM 3 years ago and most of them seem ready to go again, especially a HUGE bunch from CLT. They hate Tommy Reagon and despise Sito, and Bill Wise is now seen as a traitor from what I heard. Prolly the same with Gary Peterson, but Gary flips with whoever is out front.

It is really like a stalemate. I don't see the company moving on issues nor the unions. The company saves money with things as they are, so you could almost say things worked out well for them as they planned. The obstacles were just too severe to get past. Mergers are quite complex as I'm sure all here know, so just have to accept the difficulties.

To be fair. Even though it wasn’t presented officially the Company did offer items through their direct Negotiations tactics. Partially there were improvements against their last position in that. They then moved closer again.

While the movement is not exactly commonplace orthodox still can’t exactly use the term stalemate really.

There may still be (Maybe) one final improvement announced and presented before moving into the next phase?

The last Association update did say in regards to SCOPE there has been movement too.

100%. It's incredible. I received some phone calls for guidance on some things but I truly wish them the best. The smartest thing for any union person is to have a union that has interest in that particular group. 90% of all unions are independent unions with only one property. Like our Stews and Pilots. MX is headed down that path.

The best fleet service union ever was ROPA on Southwest. It only represented Southwest rampers and my pal Squidd was a great leader. They led the industry in wages, etc until it merged with the TWU in the 90s.

I would have to say they seem to decide what they want now, so they do not have 5 unions on the ballot. They have one AMP. If they get enough cards and have the money, they will definitely have a better chance of success. Even if you don't believe they can.
