American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

Won't have much of a choice. The Association will move on medical.

I'm sure the Association would be willing to move towards the Company if the Company is willing to move towards the Association.

BTW NYer when you go to buy a new car MSRP is only their starting point for negotiations.

Sorry W, the company ain't moving. The company has the leverage. And the company has Section 6. Who'd you say was paying you...
Disclaimer: all in my opinion.
The company's "leverage" is Trump, a GOP Congress, and a GOP SCOTUS...

honestly, you are way out of your league discussing things with NYer. He knows his stuff. You couldnt even negotiate anything better with Lehive other than mop up duty in FLL which was probably only the starting point.
btw, Sito had a pretty bad week, hosing the stews at xjet, agreeing with management for binding arbitration for 10,000 rail, and giving up scope at United in den.

Not sure how that license is going to help you with that plane down in S America unless maybe you’re going with it

Does anyone even know if the Company ever actually offered a full comprehensive proposal yet to any of our Negotiators on the outstanding issues? And I’m not looking for a response from anyone who makes things up.

We have people here who are anxious to vote on something or think the Association has the power to force the Company to come to a deal that suit’s everyone. Besides that there is no deal that is going to suit everyone since I’ve never seen a 100% yes vote for any contract negotiations in the Airline industry or outside of it.

Anyway I don’t believe the Company has offered our Negotiators a full offer yet and so far still are just dicking around on their Webpage trying to find out what exactly would be the cheapest offer they can make “officially” that we would accept.

The responses so far on Jetnet telling them mostly to take a flying leap is why we’re sitting here now just waiting, waiting, waiting.

This is a completely calculated psychological maneuver designed just to cause that frustration to get us all to buckle.

Who’s paying me?

Are we back to attacking each other again AANOTOK?

And who cares about Section 6. Have you read up what it actually is?
You yourself brought up a few posts back who indeed pays your salary.
No, not an attack at all.
And thirdly, you may not care about Section 6, because we all know your single, wealthy and everything is great right now. Well, some members are not as fortunate as you and realize Section 6 has the real possibility of harming them even more if this happens to be drug out for a few more years. Finally W, I will simply say yes, I'm fairly confident I know as much about section 6 as you do. I'm sure you recall, it's been posted on the site as well if anyone wants to educate themselves on it.

But I digress...Any Association update?

Weez according to this here from Sito at the TWU convention they did but the association threw it in the garbage:

Josh

Based on the tone of the letters from Roach that came out and how people like 700 got giddy about it the IAM really was hoping it would be a big win for them to get more dues payers but they basically extended free services to the company in exchange for nothing. The IAM was long bitter the AMTs at NW left for AMFA years back.

Then NWA took the IAM to the cleaners in BK, and finally they got decertified at DL. Aside from a few perpetual malcontents at DL there isn’t much interest it would seem.

The Company gave weak revenue guidance.

Josh
Buy low sell.. think it's more likely to hit the 20s than the 40s there Josh????

Go away.
Dude, you told us like 4 different times, "Offer coming in 30 days", the latest fail was when you claimed that the Gary Peterson underwear video claiming a deal before Christmas. Seriously, just leave. This place had tons of information on it after you claimed this page sucked and you wanted to sabotage it on one of your rants when you finally put yourself in self imposed exile.

Take my advice, it's a win win. You seemed to be more functionable after your 30 day exile and less stressed, and this page became civil.

They have been moving. That's what the emails, videos and town halls have established.
yes they have. Slowly but you are correct. Anyone who watched the videos will see some movement. Trouble is that most just do what Sito instructs and don't watch or read anything other than what Sito wants them to know....which is a bunch of nothing.

Weez that wasn't cool making fun of one's appearance is not cool unless it's tim.No veggies for a week
I find it interesting. Weez tries to shut down these threads and sabotage things, and he can't. So he reverts to personal attacks on either me or NYer. When all of that fails, tries to dilute the information on here with youtube videos. Guy has no class. And NYer stays professional even though Weez has to hit below the belt to try to provoke NYer. I don't know why they just don't throw Weez out of the union. Someone should press charges on him at the Local. His anti union garbage shouldn't be tolerated.

Apologies. I thought you were implying someone else on the pay. Yes AA does pay me although a friend of mine has a running joke that the TWU makes my car payments for me.

And NOTOK I’m really not insensitive that we all (me included) want a deal and for this to be over especially on the TWU side. But I think it’s incredibly counterproductive to be transmitting any “frustration” over the issue.

Trying to force the IAM Members to move off the items they already own just for us is causing them IMO to dig their heels in even more and maybe even against US more than the Company.

Not to mention how the Company reacts to it.

What licenses do u have, that makes u not instantly replaceable....a couple hours of training on ground equipment?
Stop the bullchit and just agree they would like to get rid of all of us.I don't know you and AA just from this forum and I can tell you HE is not going anywhere. The fact of the matter is the company wants more cuts from your craft.your effort would be served fighting that
