That update proves aa mgmt has never given rats ass bout the employees.
Let’s not assume the Association gives a rats ass about is members either. AA has the leverage pure and simple. I guess the Ass game plan is to hold out forever costing it’s members hundreds of thousands collectively while the TWU/IAM leadership is paid pretty handsomely.

How cool would it be if whatever fine AA gets from the association, AA disperses that to the association members as a signing bonus.

Are you serious? Where do you come up with some of your thoughts?

Giving a bonus to the very people who are alleged to have participated in a work slowdown, that's asinine!

Besides, they're too greedy for that.

Calling me asinine is a bit hurtful, and merry xmas to you..... :-(

I just think it would be cool to take from the association and give to the members were forced into that abortion of an organization.

You are right, the fine will probably be used for another stock bye back.

At this rate we will probably have AMFA file before a contract is signed.....it would be worth it to me.

I would love to see the IAM ousted too for fleet.
They have been a big thorn for many of us for far too long
I still think they are controlling this stalling for a deal.
Pissing a lot of people off

Sorry, I didn't mean to call you asinine personally.

I meant it would be asinine for the company to reward employees who participated in an alleged work slowdown.

Happy Holidays :)

The leverage the Association had shld have used it. But they blew that when Samuel made that God-awful statement

According to some Fb groups I,m in at Clt there big difference between what they were briefed on last week and what this up date says.
In full disclosure I’m out on medical and not there and only know what I have read.

Well as I said, what is the update not saying.
There is always something these guys are hiding because there just a bunch of crooks and always have been.
Stealing our money via dues and not caring about us.
So yeah not surprised

A strike vote, in the current airline industry, is useless. It wouldn't scare anyone into anything because most know it would never be allowed.
Those disagreeing with this point should read the Railway Labor Act.

Samuelson threatens Isom which delays negotiations for 5 months and we are farther away then we were 18 months ago.

Gee with 2 huge industrial unions representing us (and one of the union presidents a real tough guy) we are getting no where fast with less benefits, pay, and respect then our peers at a non union shop.

This photo rubs me the wrong way even more after the most recent update...Maybe Danker, Juan, Cosey and a few others can wipe the smile off their faces and retake...nothing to smile about in my opinion.

With there big salaries off us due paying members they have a lot to smile about. They do not care if we get a contract are not as long as they get our dues. Mechanics let’s sign those AMFA cards .

You would think the wealthy investors and fund managers would be screaming for their dismissal.

i believe that is coming soon. in recent times, groans and murmers.

the fact that aa has earned over $20 billion since the merger and the company is worth less today (market cap) that it was on IPO day, is stunning.

remember what the analyst from morgan stanley asked/stated last oct.: are you going to STEP UP in wages, since it seems to be the winning formula for united.

when wall street infers that the company should pay us more, you know parker's stinginess has no economic philosophical leg to stand on.

delta will set a profit sharing record this year and united earns more per hour than delta. throw in no retro and balking on vc...what is occurring to aa assoc. employees is disgraceful.
