You don’t know anything you are a mechanic at WN with delusions.
You don’t work at AA nor are you involved either the TWU nor the IAM, nor in negotiations. You have issues if you believe what you are posting. Your a nobody in the AA and Association negotiations or anything at AA. Your a wannabe AMFA Pom Pom cheerleader.
Kettle meet pot!

I dont underestimate the lawsuit. Quite frankly i dont think the association really cares as much as you think. But then the membership is purposely kept ill or miss informed. If it goes thru the holidays i have a feeling the contempt is going to be hard to miss.

They have to care. It's millions.

Last week the update said that they made progress in scope for all departments with the exception of facility maintenance. Does this weeks update mean they are still fighting over facilities or is it completely something else.

Thats a good question, we will never.know the answer to.

They dont care sbout the millions we are losing. So they get sued a judgment against them for fines. Its not like they will lose their membership they are confident we are a captive audience

Who can answer this question?

What happens when we get to vote and Mechanic and Related vote yes on their proposal and Fleet Service votes No?

Do Mechanics have a contract or not?

They can be bankrupted. The fine could supercede their assets, like the scenario the APA faced in 1999 and the SWA mechanics today.

There are separate certifications. If one passes and the other doesn't, then there is a ratified JCBA and an open JCBA.

Both.

Typically, at this stage of negotiations one side usually throws something out there to see if they can get a little bit more. Seems the Association may have been ready to cross the finish line and something else was thrown on the table.

I guess we will see. Im sure that scenario will play out. 1 of the 7 groups are bound to say no.

Apa is still here, america west and usair survived. Amfa will survive and unfortunatley the association will survive a bankruptcy. And american will survive the next bankruptcy.

And funny thing is, they have all vacated the premises. (Well, jury is still out on 700). One other thing I find a bit interesting, although W loved them all and believed every word, they were all IAM reps pumping till no end...now, silence. As Fleet, they tried burning in our collective heads that AA wanted us doing nothing but loading and unloading airplanes, PERIOD! Now, SILENCE!
Those people fed us some real crap. The LAA members were played by the Association and it is a disgrace how the TWU went along with it. The IAM people had a good deal and it was good business for them to keep it as long as possible. The BS the IAM guys put on here was pretty pathetic. The when or where stuff looks absurd since it now appears mgmt doesn't know when or where or how. It's a fiasco. Looking at how things went down is unbelievable, but that's what happens when you get sold out.

APA is still here, but they had to trade scope language for their fine to go away, and they weren't even in negotiations.

It won't be a reorganization, it'll be a liquidation.
