American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

It only happens when the list is submitted by the company then each union and the company can challenge eligibility. But alas you know this.
The question should be, How long does a company have to submit a list & how long does the card submitting
group have to challenge that list? You just did not pull the seniority lists off Jetnet back then like we can today.

Who Cares about UA ramp. And we careless for AA ramp.
Should be a part-time job for college students...
a bunch of rampers were so delusioned that they were pissed off about the jetnet proposal. Spirit pays rampers a top out of $15 with no medical (thanks iam) and have better production and results.

“Delusioned” is thinking that what is negotiated means anything at all.
Let’s not forget there is now a well worn path to bankruptcy. Even with 4 billion dollars in the bank. Excuse me if I’m not excited about a contract that can be abrogated at any time by the company. Promises made , do not have to be promises kept. I don’t envy the position that puts our negotiators in.

I think our negotiators had enough trouble negotiating with themselves. The company took advantage of that. How do you go 4 years without talking wages benefits and scope? I don't think bankruptcy is on the horizon at this time. As awful a job as mgmt has done with the operation they still made more in 3 months than we used to make in a year. The upper mgmt now has a lot of bad press from the bad performance and would surely be let go before anything close to bankruptcy.

Unfortunately for you, that's not your decision to make, now is it. Now go sign a card are something and let me finish my studies, tough exam coming up. :)

You guys who need to use more than on alias to either try and continue to gain access or try and get some stupid ass point across really are some desperate MOFO's. Got to admit though, it can be some much needed comic relief when some truly is needed.

if i'm the assoc., my philosophy would be/would have been - reward us and then hold us accountable. win-win.

the shale oil revolution saved everything...too bad for us, we took a money hit from 2003-2016.

13 years we can never get back.

The names were never challenged as not enough cards were filed.

That's where you're wrong. There were hundreds of challenges that were caught - as the TWU & AA attempted to include dead people, retired people, at will employees including management, and as I mentioned before, title group employees not in the "and related" classification. BTW, there were plenty of cards filed otherwise the NMB would never have bothered to get involved with validating cards, and of course bending the rules to include normally ineligible voters to make sure to dilute the AMT numbers. It wasn't that long ago.

Nice try though.
