I think the membership needs to flood the international with emails, text messages, and even phone calls asking where the detailed updates are. Make them tell you guys exactly why are there no longer details about what takes place at the table. Even threaten the idea of replacing them with another union, maybe, they might listen if they knew they were gonna get replaced.


I honestly think that they were moved up into their new positions to shut them up permanently about the negativity on the asso. and it worked. Sad but true. They were bought off by the international moving them up and giving them huge raises.

They're proven sellouts, and they keep proving it time and time again.

You realize Labor costs, as any expense, brings down stock price, right? You want a spike in the stock price, let them cut Maintenance to the levels other airlines have cut it. You're not in favor of that, I'd imagine.

In general, they just want to get what they want with no regard to anything else.

They argued the 2003 cuts were because the TWU was tricked into believing there could be a BK, even though every other airlines expect SWA filed their own BK's soon thereafter.

In 2011, they believed there was no way the airline could file for BK, until they did.

In 2012, they voted no in a BK because the airline would never abrogate, until they did it to the pilots.

Now, it's "there's no job action," even though a Court ruled there was...THREE separate times.

They just ignore everything, "just give me what I want."

As a mechanic myself I agree that some are very unrealistic with the want. We can’t expect the same goodies as other airlines without being on par with the scope. Ain’t ever gonna get the cake and be able to eat it too.

As a B-Scale, I have to say that I liked Crandall. But Crandall does not get all the credit.
The TWU that is determined to negotiate future members as the cost of current members

The IAM has never posted details during negotiations in the past due to the potential for items to change during follow up negotiations. This shouldn't be a surprise to LUS folk.

That more than likely complete BS. Even in our med. nego's we were still allowed to get written updates as long as they were approved. As well as very detailed updates at the union monthly meetings. This asso putting that blame on the NMB is just an out, and how many will still believe this asso. is just pathetic to this day.
