I honestly think that they were moved up into their new positions to shut them up permanently about the negativity on the asso. and it worked. Sad but true. They were bought off by the international moving them up and giving them huge raises.

They're proven sellouts, and they keep proving it time and time again.

You realize Labor costs, as any expense, brings down stock price, right? You want a spike in the stock price, let them cut Maintenance to the levels other airlines have cut it. You're not in favor of that, I'd imagine.

Probably good guys, but they do have a tendency to live in their own world. They just refuse face the fact that AA has to be competitive

In general, they just want to get what they want with no regard to anything else.

They argued the 2003 cuts were because the TWU was tricked into believing there could be a BK, even though every other airlines expect SWA filed their own BK's soon thereafter.

In 2011, they believed there was no way the airline could file for BK, until they did.

In 2012, they voted no in a BK because the airline would never abrogate, until they did it to the pilots.

Now, it's "there's no job action," even though a Court ruled there was...THREE separate times.

They just ignore everything, "just give me what I want."

Being a veteran of airline bankruptcies I would chuckle and shake my head at the restore and more crowd.
 
As a mechanic myself I agree that some are very unrealistic with the want. We can’t expect the same goodies as other airlines without being on par with the scope. Ain’t ever gonna get the cake and be able to eat it too.

As a B-Scale, I have to say that I liked Crandall. But Crandall does not get all the credit.
The TWU that is determined to negotiate future members as the cost of current members
gets some credit too...

At the request of the NMB, the parties have agreed to keep details of our discussions confidential.

Guess you didn't retain this part of the previous week's update.
 
We can also blame the 12 that are in the other room..
Top guys Shiable,Danker represent the base and line.
If they had any ba-ls they would resign and tell the rest of the membership to sign a f---ing card for any other union other then IAM or TWU..
but these guys are not leaders they are idiots...

That more than likely complete BS. Even in our med. nego's we were still allowed to get written updates as long as they were approved. As well as very detailed updates at the union monthly meetings. This asso putting that blame on the NMB is just an out, and how many will still believe this asso. is just pathetic to this day.
