Wonder why the nmb is still scheduling meetings if they are just covering BS articles and are not talking about scope wages etc

Maybe they will get bulletin boards done next time that way they can keep us up to date

Exactly. Supposedly we were close to being done Beck then. They've met for 2 weeks and they say they progressed on things other the big stuff.

Doesn't add up.
Union stalling on anything and more worried about possible fines from PRO. They care more about that then their members

Maybe Bernie Sanders should write another letter about the increasing medical premiums.

i think that would be right up his alley - his specialty.

he got the amount wrong on buy-backs, but it's all good - just being in the spirit of his letter.

Glad to see you finally agree that there is too many different groups within the same union. The mechanics need to get on their own so this **** won't happen again. For any group to be waiting for other groups to get done so they can vote on something is just ridiculous.

The Fleet group is separate from the Maintenance as certified by the NMB. The fact they're still negotiating together is a choice by the Association.

You boys might want to change your sources. None of you have been correct so far and you all say you have very reliable "sources". In reality you are simply a mouthpiece for the union to keep delaying and not informing the membership what has taken place at the table.
Progress??? I see none. As someone else has already said here, we were ALL told and believe that only the biggie items were left and yet in the uninformed update (if that's what you wanna call it) they made "progress" on items other than outsourcing, pay rates, medical, retirement, pension, 401K, etc. Pathetically sad progress if any at all. Just more stalling and delays. I too will go along with others and say nothing this year as well...

Negotiations continued at the National Mediation Board offices in Washington, DC this week. Some progress on issues other than Scope, Retirement, Healthcare and Wages was made. Your Executive Negotiators remain committed to achieving the best contract in the industry.

The Mediators scheduled additional dates at the Mediation Board offices October 8 through October 10. We are hopeful progress continues and increases at the next meeting.

There is one issue that trumps those mentioned and your know first hand how important they are.

The biggest issue in the room would be the legal fiasco still facing the Association and something that needs to be addressed asking with the language on the open items.

Everyone seems to forget that is still a factor and probably the biggest one.

You mean sito chooses to negotiate together. Since the iam owns the twu, via the association.
