The Fleet group is separate from the Maintenance as certified by the NMB. The fact they're still negotiating together is a choice by the Association.
There is one issue that trumps those mentioned and your know first hand how important they are.
The biggest issue in the room would be the legal fiasco still facing the Association and something that needs to be addressed asking with the language on the open items.
Everyone seems to forget that is still a factor and probably the biggest one.
And who do you think calls that shot? I don't know, you may. But I do recall you folks trying to get it taking care of and didn't have the support...that's all I'll say about it.Fleet having been tied to maint for so long has screwed us for a long time.
It needs to end the fleet group needs to move on
This frustrating to me i could imagine how the AA side feels. This is just ridiculous now someone should explain whats going it would appear negotiations are going backwardsAnd to think there are some who still think this Association was/is a good thing...
i would think the NMB has a little more clout than to allow that to happen. We know Tim's agenda...he said possible announcement last night and today it's union holdup, court case...not buying it.Tim is reporting on FB that the union is holding up negotiations until company settles court case. With what is going on it doesnt sound to far fetched
Then in your opinion whats going on here we are going backwards is this just total disfunction or what??i would think the NMB has a little more clout than to allow that to happen. We know Tim's agenda...he said possible announcement last night and today it's union holdup, court case...not buying it.
I think we deserve a better explanation.Did i say better how about just an explanation what did they do the last 2 f@@king weeksThen in your opinion whats going on here we are going backwards is this just total disfunction or what??

The TWU really owes its members a much better explanation for things as they sit now. You read the update and it looks as if it was written 2 years ago. WTF are they doing in there? Probably trying to negotiate there way out of the court problem which could cost us. This is getting to be like taxation without representation. This is a giant **** sandwich we're being fed by people concerned for themselves.i would think the NMB has a little more clout than to allow that to happen. We know Tim's agenda...he said possible announcement last night and today it's union holdup, court case...not buying it.
I bet there was movement aanotok, probably not in our favor. The Association blows so much smoke up our asses it has become a guessing game.I honestly don't know Al. But either all the previous updates stating all was settled (pretty much) except those mentioned in yesterdays update were total lies, or yesterdays update is a complete lie. If I were to guess, I would say that the most recent update is full of holes. The NMB would not request more meetings if NOTHING or NO ONE moved on the most important articles. When all is said and done,I think Association is going to tell you what a great job they did considering what others in the industry have. They will not say the fines played any role. At this stage of the game, the NMB would hang around if they were going backwards. (All in my opinion)
