I could forget the BILLIONS AA continues to put onto your frozen retirement funds.

AA did not do that out of kindness , BK judge forced it on them.

You didnt lose anything (a percentage) of what you already accumulated did you?. Our plan that went to the pbgc we could actually lose a percentage .like an insurance company not giving you full value of a nee car you just totaled

The company used to send a yearly report on my pension too .They would project how much i.would getting when i retire in 2025. Little did they know back in 1978 that it would be frozen in 1990 and terminated years later and sent to.the pbgc.So not only did my benefit get cut i also will.lose a percentage of what was cut. Double whammy

You will get 100% of the amount of the time you vested in the plan, nobody ever promised you more then that. Yes it sucks that the company tried to dump it on the PPGC, but having it frozen still is better then what it could have been. Crying over it won’t bring it back, anyone who did not see it coming and plan accordingly just was not seeing the world around them and how pensions have been going away for decades. This is why I will never accept the IAM plan
