Heard that one before!!!Nope. They'll have a vote.
The Company offered a package, but if the Association is really worried about attrition they wouldn't want one. Right?
I'm guessing there will be a package. The bonus to that is that you can still participate here after you GTFO.
Didn't say they won't vote. The union can sign off against the members will. At least that was in the constitution of the TWU. I don't know if its changed since the merger.Nope. They'll have a vote.
Union is making it sound like AA will never hire another fleet or AMT anda lot of the language the TWU refuses is already in the IAM contract and has been.Hear of any mass layoffs on the IAM side in the last 10 years??In theory yes. But from day one you are correct the execution has been piss poor abysmal. Unfortunatley its been based on lies and encouraged miscommunication. Its clearly about the money i.e. the dues.
From what I have herd maintenance was being held up for fleet to get 40 stations. I was Not blaming feet just tired of being told I shouldn’t be paid that if we’re not paid that. We should be in separate negotiations we are 2 different groups with different issues. That’s why I have signed AMFA cards and amp cards but for some reason other mechanics are happy with the twu. so I have to except that . Not happy about it.. I didn’t say fleet was holding us up. I was tired about every other post they complained that maintenance was offered swa pay . I’m tired of hearing about it . and said so and I’m sure after the association gets handed defeat tomorrow in court we all will have a vote on the company proposals then we will all have our 1 vote. You haven't noticed, have you.
This time, it's Fleet that's being held back. If the negotiations were separate I'm sure Fleet would of had a vote by now.
We've even been mislead to keep us in check while they deal with the mechanic issues. Don't blame us for the maintenance problems, we're just spectators at the moment.

That should piss everyone off. They want Fleet pissed so we'll vote against it and keep track with Maintenance who will vote no.
All the talk about "when and where directed" and ask the attrition stuff but NO ONE can point towards that language. (It doesn't exist)
You think the AMTs goi g to turn down another 6$ per hour. They may say no in the breakroom but.....They want Fleet pissed so we'll vote against it and keep track with Maintenance who will vote no.

Nor were we giving any compensation for our lost holidays since the merge,We were sold out IMO. The TWU put us in this wretched position and have cost their members a lot. It's a wonder Isom didn't tell Samuelson to look in the mirror as to why there is no deal. I'm sure the company enjoyed this Association to deal with knowing how dysfunctional it is, but they came up with new ideas such as giving LUS people a break for insurance for another year. We've heard nothing from the Association and seen nothing other than Samuelson blow his top. I put it on the TWU for terrible leadership.
