yea but paid suspension isn't in our contract. They only pay suspensions at certain airports.

Let's see, we got a 25% raise in 2016. Will probably end up around $33 an hour at DOS (Fleet), Profit sharing a couple of years, 2 free reserved seat tickets, a $1,000 bonus...then the proposal includes another 4% in matching 401K. Double time and half for 10 holidays, more paid sick days..... Doesn't seem money has been an issue.

really?

wages - dl and ua were 2 country miles ahead of us in 2016.

what do you tell hp workers that were making $10/hr? your wages are up 300+%? maybe, you guys won the lottery with this merger. it gets even better for them, because they'll get $3k more than you and me.

if we get 3% more than delta, we will be nowhere near $33/hr on DOS. we won't even be at $32/hr.

profit sharing? ok..

$1,000 bonus after getting hundreds of millions with a tax cut?

double time and half for holidays? had that once before. 10 holidays? had that. more paid sick days...we had 12 paid sick days after the 2001 acquisition of twa.

you're ok with 2% a year, when in fact, the ticket agents have gotten and will get 2.5% a year, the last 2 years of their deal.

the company came up with $$ for the AMTs. i'll stand-by. the company has $7 billion just sitting around.

The company offered mechanics the new swa wages several reasons its the new market Rate for mechanics. And they want us amts to pass it. So I’m sure the twu is going to screw us out of it to make you and stores happy like they always do since us mechanics are the bastard step child of the twu. So I’m sure that will make you happy. That mechanics get screwed again. Because you are holding a grudge against us in every post it’s the same thing

i have a grudge against the AMTs? no.

every post? because i mention the nice piece of late candy the company is proposing? isn't that what it is?

it's late

it's nice - compare what the company was earlier offering in wages to AMTs

it's candy - meant to sway voters

i'm glad this is the new market rate for AMTs' wages. what is the market rate for profit sharing?

if this is the new market rate, why didn't the company offer these new market rates last year or 6 months ago?

someone just posted that saying 'no' is a losing strategy. imagine if you had a chance to say 'yes', last year?

you'd have missed the new market rates for AMT wages.

You said, "the company found some money for them, where is the money for us?"

Just answering your question. We got some too and we stand to get more. This JCBA isn't about money.

BTW... We should end up about 3% above UA, they'll be at $32 in Dec.

From day 1 the iam took their position for granted. They sat out untill their positions were threatned.

They sat out to keep what they have because what they were getting want really worth the trade off they'll make.

You haven't noticed, have you.

This time, it's Fleet that's being held back. If the negotiations were separate I'm sure Fleet would of had a vote by now.

We've even been mislead to keep us in check while they deal with the mechanic issues. Don't blame us for the maintenance problems, we're just spectators at the moment.

Market rates change just about every contract. With your strategy we'd need to wait forever while not getting a raise just to make sure we get the top raise.

It's a never ending want. Makes no sense.

We would like nothing more then to be cut loose from the association.

Anyone that reads these forums should be pissed off. If your fleet service and they are deliberatley lying that is a problem. If your in maintenance are they lying? At what point did they stop and or start lying?
The association clearly has to wide and diverse amount of workgroups to effectively represent and negotiate effectively.
When they throw their membership under the bus for self preservation its time for them to go.
I get the impression that you and others are starting to get frustrated at the make up and organization of the association.

They knew that as they drug their feet 3 years ago?

Had there been anything to entice them?

They're making less gain but taking more loses. Why run towards that?

If our side was going to make an issue on things they could just sit quietly in the side and let time pass. Protect what they can as long an they can.

That's not happening. You'd need a card drive and if they implement the new NMB rules, eliminating the "straw" man, a card drive is suicide.

They sat out to keep what they have because what they were getting want really worth the trade off they'll make.

And they knew they pulled a fast one in maintaining representation of their work group after the merger.
