If that is true, then the association has been a bigger failure over 5 years than I thought and when the twu lied by shelving a jcba and only negotiated for wages to enhance their dues, there went our merger leverage.

Absouloutly, they sued them to become them. The associatio will do anything, anything to prevent a representation election. Including:
Imposing the association
After further ratification
Selling all the line maintenance local halls and disbanding the locals to one. To discourage maintenance from getting to chummy with each other.

Oh the will deal from the bottom of the deck, dont doubt that at all.

Your arguments in previous posts support it. Where the iam pressured for the association (to keep members) to your argurment that the iam would not form the association if they were the .majority. dont doubt for a minute for a minute jim little and fat don were convinced, they just knew they would lose an election. No dont doubt for a minute they wouldnt do anything to avoid an election. Up to and including delaying a jcba. On another subject if we are trully seperate keep an eye on the flow thru items....

Some could’ve gotten violent if the twu side would have upped the anti but who wants to lose their job at this point in life. Parts have been sabotaged when sent from a twu station to a iam station.
The company is well aware of all this at the top level.

Don’t look for company intervention anymore. The twu screwed themselves of the favored union status with this combo union abomination.
Don’t look for the company to inflate the numbers of craft n class like they did two drives back or be waiting for the twu to call and tell them know the day to file with the nmb like the last time. The teamsters didn’t have enough cards but filed anyway and the same day the company turned in their info. Hmm how’s that work? The company just happened to have everything ready on a minutes notice because they are super intuitive and efficient?
